im curious cause it seems to happen alot with a LOT of you. well it dosent even have to be that you where trying a stunt just how many times have you crashed a motorcycle period, dirt bikes count to . ok if you where rolling on the cement or the dirt goin lets make it 10mph or more that thats a crash. but not if you drop your bike in a parking lot thats not crashing.. just wondering if the cages pay off..

Just once so far... but It wasnt really bad I just fell over tryin to do a uturn on very uneven pavement thats all!

cages are definately worth it for me. I usually crash once a week, usually doing slower stuff, but without it, I would've bought alot of case covers, handlebars and levers by now.

 

nope none of the above... I skinned my knee and scratched the stator no damage (was on My F2) I haven't dropped the GSXr I hope I dont!!! (close calls, I've gotten it real loose a few times)---I dont stunt... we are about to get those new mini bikes so I'll come back and let you know how many times I go down... I expect it!!

 

i know what u mean with those close calls i get in em every day i ride for more that an hour, lol.
1ce a week lol. crap dude how fast u normally goin? atleast the cage as paid for itsself over and over for you "good call" , be safe ride the street but take the real crazy sheot to the p-lot brotha. laterz

but just rollin out... I ride the line a lot!!! and when I give a lot of gas I feel the rear end move on me... its hard to explain....

god i wouldnt even want to figure out how many times my bike has slammed the ground hard. it would prolly make me sick.

dirtbikes are a beotch ive layed em down alot and ive only ridden few times lol. but i lock up the tire and slide sidways across dewy grass when i ride. so i get alittle too sideways somtimes and PLOP on my *** with a bike on my leg or sideing into somthing. thank god dirt bikes are hard to brake or i would owe my friend justin like a grand. ive only wrecked once but i though it sucked prtty bad. i fliped goin 40 and landed on my face and hands , helmet "on" and gloves "on" still broke 2 fingers that required surgury on though, nice little 2 inch long scar on my right hand and it hurts like a beotch when i punch stuff. that crash was only a week after i got my bike and i dident ride from end of march till bout end of may cause the dude fixin my bike was a total Ahole. 1week of invicibily=2500 bucks+2broke fingers+surgury+lossing my job , flipin in middle of traffic intesection after cutting though cars and looking like an a$$hole=PRICELESS.

im starting to get the wheelies down so im expecting one soon.. yay more bills that i dont have money for yay!!! :YEAH

street, 3 and counting. the first 2 weren't bad, goin like 30 MPH, and had no cage and the bike got all jacked.

then a got a cage and looped it at 60 and all i got was a busted tail and rearset bracket

a cage is definatly worth it

even if u don't stunt

 

i crashed two time's once was my own fault cause i was doin a wheelie in traffic an the other time some ******* in a tahoe pulled out in front of me an i got to find out how hard the back of a tahoe really is!!!!! luckly i walked away from both of them with only minor injurys..

 

All my crashes have been in the lot or at the dragstrip. I don't get too silly on the street anymore....the consequences of a minor mistake could injure or kill someone else. I couldn't live with that, so I save it for the spot. Don't get me wrong, I like a stand up or a spreader down the freeway now and then, but for the most part, I save all the good stuff for a practice spot. That way, I can keep my liscense.

 

my racing 905 cage has definately paid off. i probably wouldn't have my 1000 anymore if i didn't have that ballin cage!!

 

Only crashed a cpl times on the f4i so far but the 905 cage paid itself off. Wen down good doing circle burnouts once and pretty hard from wobbly 12 attempt. and just came out with a scratched upper. Before i got the cage i flipped a stoppie probably at like 20-30 mph when it flipped bike was jacked. upper cracked in half levers broke etc. Cage probably wouldnt have aved that anyways. Got a cpl bent bars on the fiddy too.

 

Busted My *** On Everything, More Than I Can Count. The Day I Learned 12'n, I Fell 5 Times That Day Alone. A Couple Of Lazy Falls And 2 Hard Cage Bending Falls. Oh Yeah Tore My Left Acl In A 3rd Gear 12 On A Fiddy, And Flipped A 2nd Gear Highchair On A 400ex And Took The Left Bar Straight Into My Nuts... Lol ...

 

Busted a** twice hard... once on the street flipped the bike backwards doin a stand up after hittin' oil patch ... then flipped forward after doin an endo at about 35. first crash just sliders... broke slider and stator cover. second crash nothing had a cage :YEAH got up and started doin more. Dirt bikes yeah a lot. but all crashes i've been fine.. just a little road rash

 

I Had My 1st Real Crash 2 Weeks Ago (around 8-7-04) I Pulled Up A High Chair Doin @ 50mph On My Gsxr1000. Every Thing Was Fine Until I Hit About 65-70 And The Bike Twisted To The Left (still Going Straight) I Let Of The Throttle Too Fast And The Bike Droped Sofast That My A$$ Came Off The Tank And When The Tire Hit It I Was Still In The Air And It Tank Slapped The Bars Right Out Of My Hands And Then Double Bonced Me To The Left ,the Bike To The Right Over The Curb And Headlight First Into A Wall
Meanwhile I Log Rolled (no Jacket) For At Least 20 Sec. To My Amazment I Lepted Up Immdiatly And Hoblled Out Of Oncoming Trafic As Fast As Possible. All Told I Ended Up W/ A Broken Foot And Lots Of Rash I Think It Could Have Been A Lot Worse. This Wreck Has Not Change My Passion For Stunts, Speed Or Draggin Knee
