Re: how many times have you crashed?

I crash just about every time I learn something new and atleast once every practice session. helmet, jacket, glove and a crash cage to keep you and your bike safe.

Re: how many times have you crashed?

Couple times on the street trying something new. Looped it a couple of time on the street trying to find that sweet spot(without a bar). Dropped it a dozedn times or more practicing rolling burnouts but lately haven't dropped it since I haven't been riding that much.

Don't watch the Whack Pak vids and then go stunt. It hurts, lol.

Re: how many times have you crashed?

HAHAHAH WOOHOO! :YEAH I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT DOES THAT! I bought the whackpack extreme days video like 3 weeks after I got my bike and I ALWAYS watch that **** before goin out haha. Motivation baby!... then it makes me realize how much I suck! Watch the part with gorka and thew, then watch the slow **** with jeremy bonk and them at the shipping place... it'll make you wanna go out and stunt in a heartbeat! But uh... yea. 1 wreck... and it did it. Bike is trashed! Hopefully I'll have her runnin soon. Flipped end over end about 4 times and rolled then slid a bit...

My advice is not to do sitdowns for an extended amout of time on a thin *** road when you suck to begin with... you hit the grass and traction goes by by.... so does the bike!

Re: how many times have you crashed?

the only hard crashes I've had are highchair scrapes. I hit the ground once at 20...that hurt....the second time I backflipped off at 5mph and landed on my feet...and the last one was at about 10 and I got knocked on my *** a little. nothing too bad. I drop my bike all the time doing circles and **** but nothing that sent me to the hospital...the 50 on the other hand has landed me in ER a couple times

Re: how many times have you crashed?

My worth.

Looped bike at 130km/h public Road - cracked fibula - bike complete write off
Hit 60 sign skichin - 3 broken ribs and dislocated thumb - tank engine cover
Low side into corner - just sore - fairing scratches
High side out of servo - cracked ribs - front wheel, fork tube, fairings
Low side in -5c temperature going to work - scratches
Low side late night riding - scratches and bar end
High side off cliff in twisites - Collapsed Lung 10 broken ribs and shoulder blade - broke all fairings + tank + radiator + pipe, rest of bike was fine.
I think there are at least 1 or 2 that I can't remember.

- Just this weekend gone
Looped it out going for 12's - stand up - scratches
Looped it out in 2nd sit down - broken tail, bent sub frame, scratches, foot peg
1/2 looped it out going for 12's - stand up - broken bar end, scratched engine cover.

I have been riding trail bikes since I was 6, and I have crashed these about 2000times, every time I ride I will crash at least once on the Dirt.

As for the Cage, I DONT have one and the damage bill is huge, I have one on the way and for the last 3 accidents I did have Oggy ***** on. They also help.

GET A CAGE
GET some shitty plastics paint em all matt black, go practice.
GET Spares, foot pegs, bars, leavers, brackets, and throttle.
Wear Gear, this is the only reason I don't have major skin grafts.

any how that’s what I would do second time around

No fking around here....gotta get back up on your horse (unless shes broken then you shoot it!)

Front setup (from memory) Is a UFO Platics replica for a KTM dirt bike. paid about $50AU for it. headlight is totally usless at night but it keeps the cops off your back.

Im waiting for my FI Cage from the US, once I get this on I shouldn't have any more problems.....but I have never had a cage before, only Oggy *****, which only 1/2 work....

All my bikes have been FireBlades, I got a wrecked 93 Blade my first 900, which I fliped at 140km/h and totaled the bike the only thing that was useable was the engine.

If you exclude the fist blade, all the other stacks have damaged at one point or another: Fairings (ALL) Tank, Raidiator, Pipe, Engine Covers, Fork, Front Wheel, rear wheel, Discs, bars, foot pegs, rearsets, subframe. you break all kinds of things when you crash, It really depends on how you crash, looping a bike out down the highway is going to do alot more damage than looping it out in a parking lot.... if you want to learn to wheelie get the basics down pat then start straight onto the slow stuff, it will cost alot less to learn this way....to both you and the bike.

I truly beleive that If I had a cage on then for at least 5 of my accidents I would have come with alot less damage to the bike, you also have to remember that with a cage on you can go Knee down around the twisties etc cause they scrape and chuck you off. I also have no Doubt that once I get a cage on its going to make crashing alot cheaper...

How are you pads?
are your wheels aligned correctly?
Maybe air in the lines?
Maybe you had the back brake on while ridin around and got bad fade.
Are your hoses all tight no leakes? or holes?
