Anybody stunt a Honda CBR 600 RR?
Re: Anybody stunt a Honda CBR 600 RR?
I was just at a car/bike show saturday night, and this dude was was rollin on a 6rr. He did some highchairs, he wasnt quite 12'n, but he was about 11 with no bar, no cage, he was riding a standup, and hopped onto the tank. I'm telling you, he was rocking it, so it can be done. My friend rides with him sometimes, i might try to get some pics

It can be rocked.totally....... with stock gearing as far as slow stuff i havent tried it due to it being a friend of mine's but it will get up and the tank cover will hold for a high chair.... once its up the balance on that bike is awsome, totally different from your average bike cause the gas tank is actually almost under your nads. You just gotta remember that is one of the highest reving bikes and you gotta get those revs up to pull the power out of that thing but I could not get third gear up at any speeds no matter how hard I bounced or reved. Fun bike but not an all out stunt bike in my opinion!!!!!!!

Ive ridden a hand full of stock 600rrs. The are a bit hard to get up for the first foot or two (compaired to a gixxer, ninja, r6, and older honda 600's). Its mostly due to how the bike is ballanced. Most of the weight on that bike is up front. A tank of gas can even throw off your wheelies on that bike. Also the prolink suspension also has alot to do with it aswell. Since its longer than its predisesors to get better traction out of turns. But ya just gota clutch or power it up hard to get it to Balance Point. But first gear should be no problem with just power. I can power it up in 2nd no prob on that bike. Try the bounce technique it helps alot on 600's. Just practice, its going to take more skill to stunt that 600rr than that r1 simply because of power.

I stunt an all black 600rr. Honestly, its alot different than a gixxer or 929/954, but you just have to get use to it. Mine is geared -2/+9. I was doing slow stuff and 12's all last night. The only thing I don't like about it is the tank situation. I'm into acrobatic stuff and the tank kinda limits me cuz its too round. I'm gonna try to custom one sometime this week. I'll keep you guys posted.
JUST PRACTICE! I could do it and I've seen it done.
