watchtower wins 2 years in a row?
Re: watchtower wins 2 years in a row?
i saw some one else say something simalar to what i am about to say but here it goes anyways(cant remember who so if you would like to interject feel free) everyone says bar tricks are gay, but they keep winning competitions, alot of people do bar tricks, alot of people(me) wish they could do bar tricks, if executed smoothly a bar trick can look completely awsome, when combo'ed up like toast did, it was sick, no doubt, maybe someone needs to come up with some clear names for the variations of these stunts so there will be NO dispute over wether or not it is new. but as i have said b4, its a good thing i wasnt a judge, i mean **** it would have been extremly hard to choose on such a thing as sickest trick, to me its personal preference of what stands the hair up on your neck when you see it and pushes you to be a better stunter and go that extra mile. i honestly felt the way rog did at first, until i thought about how smooth he (toast pulled that **** off, then i was like damn, im alot of broken parts away from that level of stunting...
. as for the final results, it looks like a very well rounded list of winners as well as qualifiers. next thing is, just tell us the rumor isnt true...will there be a stuntlife/milltown competition next year??????

Good luck to all you other people wanting to do competition, and good luck to the competitors trying to find someone willing to deal with hosting a competition. XFest, LSBB, StuntLife, etc.. happened and are done.
I LOVE YOU ALL!!

and no offense to high chair scrapes, but kyle from triple extreme was doing that with no handbrake a long time ago so it's not anything new. so first and second, both being sick, weren't new.....big deal, it's a comp. if you don't like it don't go. i didn't go and i'm having no problems with who won and who didn't.

i can understand that, and thats why i came right to you with it, wanted it straight from your mouth and not hear- say. we can all just hope something changes your mind in the year to come or maybe someone will step to the plate with the means to help you the way you have helped the stunt community and turn things around, until then....im outty like a forty in da ghetto....

So please back off on the horrible jufging cause it didnt happen at my event. The issue here is not about poor judging but it Rodger should have gotten 1st or 2nd in sickest trick.
Here are the results... Accurate as could be. Everyone got what was deserved!

The other guys (all my friends as well) missed alot of tricks and crashed a bunch. When the croud decided everyone else did better than me the other 4 guys looked at them like they were fools and tried to give me their prizes. I sucked it up and said, "Nope, they were the judges and no matter what you think you pleased them more than I did so that's how it works."
yea it sucked, lesson learned since then: The low altitude high speed fly by croud wants to just see crashes and burnouts. 10 circles meant nothing, high chair scrapes are just a wheelie to some people...etc.
Moral of the story....life ain't fair. I should have launched my bike into the croud killing fools for the win, whereas you should have been standing on the headlight riding a watchtower wheelie 1 footed while then parking and clutching out of it w/ your foot
that would have secured the win

Phil since I was competing against you in that final round for the shoot off, I feel what your saying. But since the the comp was based on the crowds reaction and cheers, you get a diffrent response. It's like putting on shows in front of a Biker Boys premiere, which I have done. Wierd things like Highchair burnout's/donuts and christs seem to grasp the crowds attention more than 10 circles. Well it's obvious you were the only one rockin circles but the crowd was not diggin it I guess. Everyone new that the judging was ****ed up!
I had promoters coming up to me asking what place I came in and stuff.

I've been slightly bitter towards crowd judging since then

2 Instead of getting bashed, yelled at and treated like a piece of complete **** all for no pay... I would prefer to sit at home and play Atari for no pay.
