yo i agree with xrodgcc 100% standing on the headlight is easy as ****. i learned it in one night. it only took me like 3 or 4 tries. that trick shouldnt have won that doesnt even compair to 6 highchair scrapes in 200ft.

that ***** wack

thats my .02 cents

Re: watchtower wins 2 years in a row?

I feel your pain bro. We had a local competition a few months back and it was judged by the crowd. We started w/ 20 people and eliminated down to 4. I was the 1st person to go for each round. not to toot my own horn but I was killin it. so the final round is over and it's me and 3 other guys. I went 1st and nailed every trick clean as hell. The other guys (all my friends as well) missed alot of tricks and crashed a bunch. When the croud decided everyone else did better than me the other 4 guys looked at them like they were fools and tried to give me their prizes. I sucked it up and said, "Nope, they were the judges and no matter what you think you pleased them more than I did so that's how it works."

yea it sucked, lesson learned since then: The low altitude high speed fly by croud wants to just see crashes and burnouts. 10 circles meant nothing, high chair scrapes are just a wheelie to some people...etc.

Moral of the story....life ain't fair. I should have launched my bike into the croud killing fools for the win, whereas you should have been standing on the headlight riding a watchtower wheelie 1 footed while then parking and clutching out of it w/ your foot that would have secured the win

Re: watchtower wins 2 years in a row?

I learned high chair scrapes in 1 minute. Aint none of the **** we do brain surgery. It's all about *****. Your right, it is easy to stand on the headlight while the bike is moving (of course you gotta know all the rest of the **** first-rockin slow stuff, parkin it on the bar, etc., so in actuality it takes months). Crowds dig bar tricks. It's a shame that they don't understand about the skill most of the tricks we do takes. Any competition where there are judges, someone is allways gonna feel like they got the shaft. The only solution I see is to have a competition where there are no judged events ( no judges, no chance for bullshit).

Re: watchtower wins 2 years in a row?

Honestly Sickest Trick should be just that SICK!!!! People want to see something that will amaze them. The Guardian may not be the most technical trick but neither is acrobatics, etc... Really technical tricks come with circles and that kind of stuff. It takes about 1 min to learn either trick with the ***** to do it. So instead of focusing on the past lets move forward and CREATE something new, extreme, where's all the ***** to the wall new tricks. ( I admit I haven't done anything crazy new in a while because I can't afford to crash at the moment, but thoughts like these aren't going to advance the sport.) I've got some ideas where yall at??????

this was my thoughts, last year, corey just sat up there right? didn't this year someone stand up there? that's a little different.

and no offense to high chair scrapes, but kyle from triple extreme was doing that with no handbrake a long time ago so it's not anything new. so first and second, both being sick, weren't new.....big deal, it's a comp. if you don't like it don't go. i didn't go and i'm having no problems with who won and who didn't.

Please Rodger, dont you ever pull the friendship loyalty card and favoritism card on me again. Cause you KNOW I have been one of the people who has actually been trying to help you get to the top. And you know this. If you dont know this by now... You are way to self absorbed thinking you are a God when you are just a kid with no job.

DAMN SHUGGA THATS DEEP.... **** IM NEVER SAYING ANYTHING, I WONDER WHAT YOU GOT ON ME??? LOL WELL IF THATS ALL TRUE I WOULD HAVE TO SAY THAT IS A FRIEND FOR DOING ALL THAT ****. AND IN THIS GAME PLUS JUST HAVING A TRUE FRIEND IS HARD TO FIND.

ONE THING I CAN SAY IS THANK GOD RODG OR NO ONE GOT SERIOUSLY HURT DURING THE COMP. CAUSE THATS MORE SERIOUS THAN WINNING OR LOSING. JUST MY

I would have to agree with this...I have been reading...thread after thread about this fu**ing fest...Shuggs is the GREATEST friend anyone could find...he would bend over backwards for you, no matter who you are...long time friend or first time friend...

I don't know Rodger...heard all kinds of **** about him....how great of a rider he is and bs like that, heard how he was the greatest guy in the world...blah, blah, blah...I could go on and on...

But to dis a friend, like he did Greg...just makes me sick...especially to hear all the **** that Greg did for him...mentioned or not mentioned....

All this **** is done and over with....nothing is going to change...not now or ever.... So, why not just call it what it is and compete next year or next event....which ever floats your boat. Grow up...be a man...and let it be...FRIENDS(aka SHuggs) will be there forever...not some damn fu**ing stunt you thought was newest trick, best trick, or sickest trick....

Just my two cents...from the outside world of stunting....

Only one person mentioned anything about the poor judging to me this year. Everyone else thought it was great. and NO ONE disputed the freestyle events. It was only the hardest competition ever to judge. Sickest trick. i was told not to hold this event as it is too difficult to judge.

So please back off on the horrible jufging cause it didnt happen at my event. The issue here is not about poor judging but it Rodger should have gotten 1st or 2nd in sickest trick.

Here are the results... Accurate as could be. Everyone got what was deserved!
