the speedo wire wont work on 99 the speedo is on top of the motor 95 is driven off the sproket cover dont plug the motor plug in just use your old setup. stator plug is identical, the temp sensor is different, 99 uses a digital guage 95 a needle, swap out the sensor i pluged the harnes into my 99 sensor and the guage dont work, temp guage is important. the only othe difference is the carb tps sensor, but if you are using 95 carbs dont worry about it. they dont have a tps switch. you should get thr carbs resinced and tuned, the 99 motor has about 20 more horse and the power range is way different, so you may need to rejet, just an adjustment not new jets, mine ran real choppy with older carbs on a newer motor.

the only two cthings to worry about is the temp sensor and the speedo plug otherwise they are a dead match.

pm me if you got more questions i have done about 20 of those swap outs, i can do them with my eyes closed. usualy takes about two hours im my garage. but then they dont call my 9-hunit for nothin.
