From the looks of the pic, looks like if you slam it to hard the subframe is going to go bye bye quick...

Re: Is My 12 Oclock Bar Install Right

I like the high bar, I notice alot of peeps comming out of Europe run them high just like your. I have thought about re doing mine to something like that, I think it would elevate the front more to balance out better and give more control when rocking w/ the foot in the bar.

Also, though I have never owned one but have heard/seen, that the R1 is known for a weak subframe. I would learn slow stuff before going for the bar, this should give you brake control and when you finally hit the bar you wont crush that pretty frame. Good luck mang!

The only thing I would worry about is getting hit by it if you flip a stoppie- besides that it looks good for starters...

Re: Is My 12 Oclock Bar Install Right

looks good, i started there, then cut 3 inches off, next step bringing it even with the tail light. as long as you bring it up fast then stall it and set it on the bar you wont break any subframes. i would suggest getting a cage though(my choice is a racing 905) i crashed my first 12 with out a cage and ****ed up my whole bike. ive crashed with the 905 and been back up scrapin 2 min later. by the way, we got a big guy in our crew and he rocks the **** out of his 900rr. look at andy aka phatty from vmc. he is a big guy and he is tearing **** up.

Dont worry man, nobodies being serious... Everybody is welcome to stuntlife. We're all just messing around with you... But alot of people that put bars on start out with it at a longer length than the standard position. then once they're use to it, they shorten it up...
