attention.
point1 - if u really need to egg on somebody like thomas do this first take somethin u put ur heart and sole into and **** on it thats what u do when ur downin somethin hes worked so hard to make better.....oh and then take ur non helmet wearin *** and drive straight into a brick wall caus ethat will match the end reault.
point 2 - omethin bein illegal doesnt make it cooler i learned thatfrom smart people a very long time ago, oh and the family thing do u ahve any idea how many people that stunt include their kids and families whats wrong with makin it something the whole family wants to be involved in and or wants to watch?
point 3 - i know a few 18yr old that will ride circles around u and dont say that they cant because if u were as good as them ud be competing ask any guy who street races if they would rather be gettin sponsored and racin on a track and if he tells yah no hes a liar............lets see make money doin somethin im gonna do any way and somethin i love ??????????? no way man i gotta keep it real for my peeps yo! come on whats next ur gonna tell me jay-z is a sellout doesnt "keep it real" because he stopped sellin drugs and became a rapper?
point 4 - u say it not for the trophy respect trophy translates into respect from others...but u sy its gotta be in ur heart that has to be the only reason u do it? then why is it so important for u to get respect from non riders on the streets id much rather be respected by the guys out there who actually know how hard these tricks are then somebody who thiks a power wheelie is an incredible feat but wait its all clear now maybe thats why u would rather keep it in the streets???????????

you say that you dont want us to rush into this sport too fast
but at the bottom of every one of your post it says
life is short enjoy it by livin it
you do the rest of the math
and as far as being shot at
what do you know
i got shot in the back of the head with a 22 exicution style and my left ear was blown off
got up and walked myself home
and stabbed as well in the left hand and right forarm
and i love the xsba and any other cotroled contest

damn, who wanted you dead man?---that sucks----about this lame thread,-----this sport NEEDS to be blown the hell up.dont you want that man?????I sure as hell do,its far and in between(especially around here)when i see a rider i dont know well representing--------
G. I bought my bike about 2 years ago with no experience at all not even dirt bikes , I did not even think about stunting at all just wanted a bike. When I began to stunt for the first time , it was like nothing else in the world mattered to me, I read 1 post that described the feeling as finding the Holy Grail which is exactly how I felt, what a way to put it , anyway back to the story , I rode around all day and night no care in the world about anything , anytime someone wanted me to throw it up , I did , burn it up , I did it, throw shows for the locals in the projects I did it , Wheelie past a parked cop car with a cop in it , I did , I did it all . So I do feel you G. and so do alot of people here we all have been there and some are still doing that, but now my story is I have no license , I racked up well over 35 tickets and spent thousands of dollars in laywers fees , every ticket I got I really did not care cause I was still riding and did not think or care about the consequences at the time. Now I Have the same outlook on stunnin as most people here do , because I have learned from my mistakes, and want new riders to see this side aswell and see what can potentially happen.Cause I was just like you G. now after all the money and lose of license I will not ride like I did anymore. To ME its not worth it , to some it may be. G. I wish you all the best on whatever you do I know exactly how you feel . I would like all the new riders who are just getting into this to realize if you get caught , ( and around here there are cops all over) you can lose your license or worse think about the consequences and rock
on
on thanx u for answering tha question with a mature point --and not attakin my person when u dont know me or not replying to a post--i feel u so---wen do u stunt now????? is their a trak by u??????? and i say itagain if thats what u want fine just dont sell out this sport and --theirs a funny thing in life called principles----i will do anything for bikes and dont want money from them cause then it will become a job--once that happens its like work i dont want to do it--its a recreational way that i live----i make money from work to fund this---im makin a vid no money--im gonna b in other vids and told them dont want money isnt that my bussiness---do you guys know that moby has almost 300 contracts to use his songs in comercials-and he takes tha money he makes from a major car company and gives it all to enviromental causes that are tryin to ban those vehicles his songs are tryin to sell in comercials!!!! i am saying its stupid for people to think this will be so main stream that u will get middle america to accept it-----you will not once they look into it and see how it was started they will say illegal---ftp--how did they learn this ---traffic???????? forget it!@!! u will get those already in major cities or in the motorcycle world to like it---and i will make vids that i see fit--that i think r true to form---one of tha best vids out most realistic besides ftp1-2-----wink 1100-is tha one were tha wheely boyz show talent from tha nyc area with tha go hard boyz ruthless tactics and other guys it let u know whats goin on and was very insiteful---and i never claimed to b tha best we r all tha best at what we do---but i will not back down from a street comp if u have sum one bring it dont sing it!!!1 whats tha wordt that could happen i lose??? wow im a winner at my life --its my shoes i put on in tha mornin
oh ya those who dont belive me about tha top stunters not even botherin with xsba then read an article in cycle world from last spring ---tha issue is between feb and june---their was a feature in tha mag about stuntin and it was said in blak and white tha top riders dont bother with xsba they dont recognize it!!!!!!! read tha article its not just me!!
oh ya by tha way---i dont need to go to competions cause im already on tv evryweek stuntin prime time!!!! my rules no one elses!!! and my live internet show is almost up and runnin !!! world wide coverage!!! so you can take your money travel and play by their rules!!! i play by mine i go to tha studio down tha street from my house and stunt how i want!!1 so all tha haters keep spreadin tha good word!
why does every body gotta fight. the man is at least entitled to his opinion right? it just seems to me that instead of everyone bashing and getting pissed about another persons opinion you could try to just understand. you may or may not understand where he is coming from.
if geiststar doesnt like the xsba then he wil not be there at the events and the rest of you will. bingo, everyones happy. if you do not agree with the gear or riding in traffic issues, dont ride with him. then you wont have to worry about it. i just hate to see everyone getting in a big pssing match over 1 persons riding style and opinions..you dont have to be his friend or even like the guy but there no need for everyone to fight over it. it'll just make matters worse.
just my opinion. you dont have to agree with me either but i figured i would share. i love you all

If that is so isn't that a little hypocritical?
Don't get me wrong Im not bashin you just want 2 know why ur are for 1 type of promotional thing and not for the other?
"Opinions are like ********, everybody's has one and they all stink."-sometimes the things people argue about are redonkulous. I teach middleschool, and it is funny to see how little adults differ from 13-year-olds. Well, nevertheless, its entertaining so keep it coming!
-one thing is for sure, gettin shot at sucks anyway you look at it.
peace

street stunting- where we all start out, trying to look cool, influenced by what you see, trying stunts you don't know how to do, evading arrest, losing license, losing friends, crashing your bike, which then collides w/ street oriented stuff (cars, poles, curbs), which then totals your bike, you claim it, WE LOOK BAD!!!!
track/spot stunting- comp. or no comp. definately safer, controlled environment, where the advanced, dedicated, and proffesional riders end up. SICK TRICKS. SICKER VIDS. SICKEST TIME OVERALL.
STAY IGNORANT, see where it gets ya. :helmet
GO CORPORATE, see where it gets ya. $$$$
have fun on the streets. see the rest of you at the REAL stunt scene.

opinions are opinions, thats cool...... but uneducated, behind the times opinions that are negative and demeaning to something I have worked my *** off for are not acceptable!
Ok lets name the top 10 stuntriders in the world that dont recognize the XSBA, then list why they are the top 10 and what sanctioning body says they are...
and as far as an article coming out in spring 2002 that was probably written months earlier after the first XSBA event in 2001... what was said then and what is going on now are two totally different things.....I was brought on by the XSBA for one reason....to make it work. I was a silent observer at the Summit Point event in May 2002, made suggestions on changes, then started at the Road America event in August 2002.
Im extremely proud to say that we have accomplished goal #1 which was turning the XSBA into something that the riders know they have input in and want to compete in. Goal #2 is next, exposure and sponsorships for the XSBA and its competitors.
so yeah u might be right about something said and written in early 2001, but that surely doesnt apply now.... so renew your subscription, ask some questions, look at the websites and educate yourself before you stick your foot in your mouth and insult people
Ive always said... the XSBA is not here to take over or commercialize, we are simply here to step it up a notch....just because someone competes in the XSBA and follows some rules for a few weekends out of the year doesnt mean that they cant hit the streets or compete at stuntwars/stuntfest/stripfest
No name road racers in the FUSA series have more sponsors than the best stunters we know... simply because they compete in a sanctioned national series. which has an national event schedule/set rules/podium ceremonies and the works
now we have all that with the XSBA, so guess what? we are working on goal #2
again.... Have a nice day!
