Did some tests over the weekend...i think it makes no difference what gears you have (unless your doing handbreak ****)...its moreso what bike you have. My 954 with -2 +17 is actually harder to ride then a 929 with -2 +5. It is so damn twitchy...but i got used to is so its not a problem. I would have an easier time with less gearing doing all tricks...all this gear talk is bullshit in my opinion.

And the guys i ride with one has a 929 barely geared...other has a 636 with -1 and +10 and the other has a 900rr with -2 +12 or so. Its not the sprocket size...or the engine size of the bike...its just the bike itself that can hurt or help you depending on what trick your doing. They all have there + and - points. They all have different balance points...some have a better stock handle bar height is different so it makes certain tricks easier...some have better fuel injection..etc.

My short *** gears hurt me more than they help me...so all this talk about big sprockets making things easier is well...(cough)bullshit(cough)

Every reason i came up with for making certain tricks im trying to do easier had nothing to do with how long or short your gears are...if you shorten your gears at all your making everything easier and it doesnt matter how short they are unless your rocken them stock...then your pimp.

i can see where rick is comin from. i used to have -2 +17 on my 900 and it was fun at first, cause it was safe and i knew i wouldn't flip cause i had the safety net of that big gear. now i switched back to -1 +7 because i was sick of riding on the street at 10000 rpm, and i can do all the same ****. but im glad i ran that big sprocket, it def taught me how to ride seat standers and tank wheelies high. i cant clutch down from a scrape on the tank anymore, but i got more respect from rick p so it makes it all worth it...

I seen your footage and that aint the street's it's the swamp's, you aint got no hills or no turns, bring them swamp skills to frisco and you might end up a broken subframe and a split wig, that footage reminded me of Duck's powerwheelie's down the 4
