i have 1 down 10 up on my f4i ..i lu vit..for highchair scarpe and tank scrape etc i luv it
its basically same as 2 down 5 up...at least very close so.....i c ricks point,a nd its the truth...alot of people putting crazy gears on there for scraping highchair and ****, and its not needed.....i did it with the 1 down 10 up, just gotta get going faster for it to come back down with clutch thats all..
but i aint hating...huge sprockest r pimp if ya need thema nd working them...
even the 1 down 10 up i got , sux on streets kinda, not bad to tear **** up, but aitn gonna rock streets all the time with it...
for our stuntfest ride, im throwing a 5 up on back..thatll help a bit..

Im runnin -1+12 on my ZX9 and it is still a pretty decent street ride ill have to agree with CBO i think the kawis are geared taller from the factory

If you don't like huge sprockets, don't run one...
I mean for real it's just personal preference.... I don't think it takes anything away from a rider if he rocks big gears. I don't run huge sprockets but I don't think it's cheating.
It's like getting down on a guy for using a hand brake. If u park crossed up 12's with or without a hand brake it's gangsta. But guys who couldn't do it either way will still point the finger.

-1 12+ on a 02 750, I had a -3 on it for about a week and hated it. Maybe its just me but I thought it was too much and riding it on the highway was just retarded, 45 mph

stock gears on a 01 gix 750.can get half circles just not all the way around.i know if i go bigger i will lose the highway and i can't let that happen.i know i will get circles it is just alot harder and it is gonna take me alot longer to learn.plus nobody ever believes me when i tell them my bike is 100% STOCK.

I don't see what difference it makes, it's your bike do whatever the **** you want to it. If you wanna do circles with stock gearing, good for you, if you wanna do circles with +30 gearing, good for you. This is retarded that people that like to do the same thing are arguing about something so stupid. Oh god, I'm not as good because I needed bigger gears to do slow stuff.....who cares. There's always going to be someone better than you, so you might as well do whatever the **** it is that makes you happy.

coming off a RR onto a 636:
-1+8 on the streetbike, no probs doing anything.
62 tooth on the rear of the B bike....2nd gear for everything, 1st gear ONLY for the stuff that requires it.

however, it does NOT have good scrape and then come back with the clutch habits...it is much much harder to scrape and then come back on the 636 than it was and is on the RR...but, the bp is way nice and it will slow down real slow, almost to walking speed with engine drag over the bars...
but my six hundo smokes any of you fools on the track (or street) anytime!!
