Ok Boyz help a Girl out

I'm new to the street scene, been on the dirt, but really hyped for the street. How do I get started. What would be the best bike for a beginner like me. And are there any clubs in the Norcal area who would like a star student? Does height and weight matter when getting a street bike? If so I am 5'10 and about 140lbs. Be good to me boys I need some advice. Lots of Love...........

A good first bike would be a older cbr 600 like a f2, f3, a ninja 250-500, or a suzuki sv650

nor cal! :D nice

how much dirt have you ridden? as in years, style, aggression, bike size, and how often do you crash. :D evaluating this way kind of helps dictate how you want to go about choosing a bike.

crash a lot = buy a cheap bike to start :D

Where in "NorCal" are you??

If you're near Sac. Go to the Arden Mall Virgin mega-store parking lot Tomorrow (Sat). near 11:30-12:30. Meeting with a lot of riders to go play. We've also got some girls that ride with us that can answer questions for you.

nice work shuggs. scare off the chicks. don't scare this one off, she's cool.

naw really though a SV650 is the best way to go. plenty of power, lightweight, cheaper insurance, don't see em everywhere, good in the twisties, BRAND NEW MODEL IN 03'. so buy an 02 for CHEAP!!! they start off cheap anyhow.

Who do I look for when I show up at Arden? Is there someone with an extra helmet who wouldn't mind a tag along?
