Re: front tire ?
i was askin about front tires ive just heard they hook up better that way im tired of startin to roll endos and it slippin on me when my tire is warm or maybe its just my body langauge at that time
I used to stunt on a Pilot Sport Race on the front of my gixxer. I had it skid a bunch of times. Then I switched to a Pirelli Super Corsa on the front and I never had a problem since. Even 3 and 4 Up Stoppies are possible ... just look below.

When you are ready to lift your stoppie, just trail the front brake enough to load the front tire. Once you have transferred weight to the tire then give a quick YET LINEAR (smooth) cinch on the lever and that will lift the rear right up.

Re: front tire ?
The myth of running a front tire backwards is not a myth. But it has nothing to do with achieving an increase in grip. It has to do with the tread pattern. It started with the Dunlop 207GP. A DOT race tire made in Great Brittan and Buffalo, NY. Evidently, one of the two, by mistake reversed the tire mold and started making the tires with a “backward” tread pattern. After running this pattern they found that wear characteristics were much better. So when anyone would get a tire with the original intended pattern they would just flip it and run it “backwards”. It made no difference in traction it just increased the life of the tire.

The reason I didn't get the 4 Up any higher is because my buddy right behind me was laying on me because of his girlfriend behind him was pushing him forward. And that was all I needed to get the stoppie high and have 3 people fall on me. LOL That pic that Crazy Martin posted was sweet, 5 Up Stoppie. This year we are going to practice on more multi-person stunts. So I'm sure you'll be seeing, hopefully, 200+ foot 3 Up Stoppies. It is hard as **** to try and steer the multi-person stoppies because of all the extra weight. LOL So I'll see what I can pull off.
