when will the industry catch up?
when will the industry catch up?
from what i've seen on here, the hondas seem to be the stuntbike of choice, but unless i'm mistaken, the 929 & 954 were (like every other sportbike) design for going around a track leaned over hard with both wheels on the ground. with stunting gaining more coverage it seems like the motorcycle industry would start producing bikes that were marketed toward stunters. i realize they cannot state that as it's official purpose and still warranty it, but it seems like they would make bikes that were designed for it and label 'em as somethingelse (with a wink). at first, i thought that's what they were doing with the 919, is it? are there any true "stuntbikes", yet?

Re: when will the industry catch up?
this is exactly what pisses me off about this whole so called sport. it's not standardized. everyone wants to have their own way of having a comp and bullshit like that verses making an organization that sets rules and sanctions all events. until then, no real sponsors are going to want to touch us. FMX took off because there is one organization, all events are held under it, run by people...it works...it's safe that way. they don't know what they are getting into when each comp has it's own rules and joe schmo runs it.
