900rr carbs ??????
Re: 900rr carbs ??????
you have your airbox off, each carb has it's own clamp under it that holds it on, loosen all 4 of those off and then grab the carbs from the top and kinda wiggle them to the front of the bike and to the back of the bike pulling upwards. they should come loose. make sure the bike is warm. i tried doing it in the winter and it was no go. if it's still hard, get a hair drier under the carbs on those rubber boots to soften them up.
Re: 900rr carbs ??????
they have 2 clamps on each one one on top and bottom i loosend both on all 4 and they have a screw about a quarter inch long in three carbs i took out i tried to wiggle and wiggle them off i think there is a screw or something im forgettin or missin any help?
Re: 900rr carbs ??????
What year is it? There is nothing holding them on, they've just never been off probably. Just pull a little harder and rock them back and forth, the seal will eventually break loose. Make sure you take your throttle cables and choke cable off too, and the wiring on the side.
