In your opinion, is it okay to have a 12 bar as a way of protecting the tail section in the event of a loop? Cause I know you gotta be thinkin "poser" if you see a 12 bar with not a scratch on it.

 

YEP...Poser! If you have a bar and cant scrape, its just wishful thinking I believe.

 

BTW, this is not a description of me. Hypothetical situation.

 

You should be getting a scrape bar at about the same time your getting a new tail light.

if you are talking about a fast wheelie loop, it won't save ****. when you loop something you are uncontrolled, therefore anyway you look at it hte tail section or the bar will hit the ground uncontrolled and cause you to wreck. if you are just coming back far or maybe tap the tail doing slow stuff, a bar will save the tail from getting crunchy though.
