Ok, now i know this could be better served in the parts wanted forum but i put a post in there like a month ago, but got no hits.

I am in the process of looking for a 97-99 GSXR 750 motor to drop in my 97 Gix 600. Now i was wondering if anyone knew some places online or reachable by phone that i could contact about used motors. Basically, i am just looking for a good salvage place that might have what i need. Does anyone have any suggestions on where i should look? I been keeping watch on ebay and don't necessarily like what i have seen. Can anyone help me with this?

 

easier to look for a 96-97 motor. 98 and 99 you need the FI stuff.

Hialeah, FL.....they might be a tad bit warm, but you can get any motor

I got one on ebay for $300.00, with less than 5,000 on it.

 

I've purchased quite a few motors from Sport Cycle Salavage in Philly. They are by far the cheapest I've been able to find. Tell them you are a stunter looking for a sponsor as well. This will probably work for you!! Good luck :D
