What stunting has done for me!

Ok this starts off about a year ago. I was working for a local racing company here (www.jadepigracing.com). Anyways we went to a local track around here to shoot some video footage of racing and 1096. This was the first thing ive ever heard of "stunting" i seen Thew bust some insane **** (skitching fast as hell) so from then on i went out and got a bike. I sometimes say "Damn Thew, making me spend all this $$ and putting myself in harms way" but its all good. Stunting has seriously gave me something to look forward to in life and when i get out of work (riding time).

Anyways back on track!! So that day i seen 1096 do the most insane stuff i have ever seen on a 400lb machine, I was hooked! I never really got into the whole motocross thing (there was a moto track next to the superbike track) So i would always watch the rockets haul *** by me. I always wanted one but never could see myself as a racer. But all of a sudden the race bikes were done and i see 3 bikes in the distance. There headlights were glowing and getting closer making a screaming sound. All 3 bikes with the front wheel pointed to the stunting gods. I think to myself, "Whats going on". ZOOM!! is all I hear when they fly by me as they drop the wheels down and start to do a little show. I seriously have never been so entertained in my life. I love stunting i say to myself. So i went to the dealership the next day to find the cheapest strongest bike i could afford ($3000) So I kind of made a mistake and bought a heavy *** ZX7R. Yeah it took me while to get the courage to play with it like 1096 did. But I knew I needed and wanted to stunt it. So I clucthed it one day comeing up about 2 inches. Then 4 then so on....

To this day i still think stunting and 1096 are the greatest guys out there. I have met them all a few times and I keep in touch with Thew a bit. But honestly I would like to thank all of the stunters on this site who has set an example for everyone who is sort of lost in there own little world "**** it, Stunt it" That is my motto all the time. Something isnt working correctly?? STUNT IT!! So anyways sorry for the mushy posts I would just like to thank all of you guys for giving me something to do when im not stuck behind my computer at work

Re: What stunting has done for me!

agreed. stl shockers did it for me. i got a bike and started trying wheelies a month later. then it got stolen, but i got it back and it was in the shop/stolen for 2 months, then winter hit, and i still rode freezing my *** off, and now its spring again and i've been practiicng almost every day and i had my first big crash (12 wreck) and i love it. the crash didn't make me scared at all it just made me want to do it again and not wreck. this site has done so much for me to, i learned so much **** and met so many cool people here that i never woulda known about if it wasn't for sl. but then again i still get sick and tired of all the haters and internet black belts.
