Streetfighter F4i

I just converted my F4i to streetfighter and I love it. It makes me feel like I have more control when doing bar tricks, and sitdown 12's are alot more comfortable, the only thing that sucks is doing highchairs, my legs kind of get stuck so that I can't turn the bars. I have stock clipon's right now, I want to put bar risers and renthals on it.

I guess my question is if anyone has done this to a f4i and if so where did you get the risers from? and did you have to put longer throtle cables on?
Thanks for any imput.

Yea, there are alot of dealers in the UK but they don't sell the F4i over there so they don't have risers or anything for it.

I have seen an f3 done and I was thinking about doing it to my f4. Get risers and bars, and I think you should redo your brake line (w/ steelbraided lines) while your at it. Not to sure about the throttle cable though.

Throttle cable is long enough.. brake lines and clutch cable aren't though. You could always just order an LSL Bar kit (kinda pricey due to the triple clamp) but will include everything you need:

Re: Streetfighter F4i

looks like it would work except for the fact that those bars look like crap.

The standard LSL kit is sold to work with your front fairing in place...this is why the bars look swept back and the risers are recessed back. You CAN specify straight style bars and high risers when you order the kit though for the same price. Then it will look like you'd expect.

If you want to do it cheaper by drilling and taping your stock triple clamp contact Tim Barnes at Freestyle Ingenuity for some risers.

Re: Streetfighter F4i

I havent done an f4i...but just did my 900rr

had to put on new front brake lines and longer throttle cable. Got my risers from Parts Unlimited..( tag universal risers like 40 bucks ), and then i used pro-tapers...but you can get clamps for renthals in 7/8". then just ordered a ufo headlight from them.

that's what i did. i don't know if the top triple on an f4i is flat or not. if it's flat, you're golden to do this. if not, you have to find a kit like we use on 929's for angled top triples.

definately longer brake lines though. parts unlimited has universal in any length you need.
