Re: Distrubing News From Lakeland

hey we were there a few times earlier in the week.... Actually I think it was on the 28th and then the monday and tuesday ...We signed a waiver and cleaned up our **** if we dropped anything, so it wasnt us. ALWAYS wore a helmet. We thought it was cool as hell that you guys have that spot to play on and wouldnt screw it up for you. Maybe some of the "big" dogs need to learn how to clean up their mess Good luck guys, I hope your spot aint ruined by some ignorance.....

Re: Distrubing News From Lakeland

I am pretty sure the "big" dogs always clean up there mess because it's their local track where they ride every chance they get and unlike some other ****ers from out of town can just come in.. stunt some and throw trash all over the damn place.

This is some mother ****ing ****ed up **** and even I am not from Florida I had wanted to one day go down and meet Redline Extreme as I am their webmaster personally and maybe watch them do some tricks at Lakeland.

Well now it seems I can't so a big **** YOU to whoever ruined this ****.

I'M NOT JOKING EITHER DUDE! it sucks if you lost your spot. i dont know how the track works by you but up here the track is fenced in and locked unless its open for business and then there is someone at the gate when we enter.we pay and sign then we ride....at our spot(not the track) i'm always yelling at people to pick up thier garbage that i see them throw on the ground and it does **** me off too....IF YOU HAVE A REAL PROBLEM THEN YOU AND WHOEVER ELSE IS A REGULAR AT THAT SPOT SHOULD HAVE KEPT A BETTER EYE ON THE ASSESTHAT WERE AT THE TRACK THAT DAY...once again YES it suckz if some ***** messed up your spot and now you can not ride there anymore but they won't man up. they are to affraid of what you and the others will do to them...probably the same thing i would do if i was you.
i really hope your spot is not ruined.

Re: Distrubing News From Lakeland

Well I'm not supprized at the least. There are some real ****ing dumb asses it the stunt group. Just hang out with them, in a hotel, movie theater, at the track whatever, most of them are no better than the kids I went to junior high with, matter of a fact most are worst. I have lost a lot of respect for some of the riders lately, and well this really finished it off. I know it wasn't any of the locals because that is our home and I hope Roy realises that.............all I have to say is who ever did this, if we find out....don't ever come back......you are not welcome here....ever!!!!! Oh and not that you guys give a ****, but if we keep this **** up........we will never be anybody, this sport will aways be looked at badly, we will never go anywhere, and we will never be more than creminals..........oh let me guess you have that I DONT GIVE A **** attutide. For the people that have that attutide.......I HOPE YOU GET A PEG STUCK THROUGH YOUR HEAD!!!!! I would like to be reconized for my skills, so thanks this really helps!!!

What seems so sad to me is that all of us are adults here, and to have such a cool place to LEGALLY ride with no BS from the law, and from what you say here it seems as if your OK with it being a babysitting session. ANYBODY in there right mind ( IMO ) would ask about waivers, rules ect. You cant be that F'ning brain dead, I mean if anything just RESPECT the guy who let you do this in the first place, HE put his neck out for ALL STUNTERS. Plus if anything you know he pays for this place. I have never ridden there but as far as I know it was free. WHY, WHY WOULD SOMEONE BLOW THAT FOR EVERYONE, Kick there focking asses
I hope it works out for you guys

Re: Distrubing News From Lakeland

GSE Mike, I get that you are pissed off. You have every reason to be. Somebody screwed up your good thing. But it sounds to me like Drew manned up, admitted he was there, and possibly shed some light on the situation. He could have just ignored this thread completely. Part of the track's responsibility IS having somebody there, passing out waivers, and, if necessary, removing problem people. If I rolled by a place like Lakeland, and saw a bunch of guys practicing... I might just check it out. And if I asked somebody "What's going on here?" and they said "Just riding" I might join in. If there were track officials about, I might seek them out and ask what I need to do to participate, but if nobody's there.... well, that's their fault.

Also, I'm an adult. I drag race. My friend's drag race. And you know what? Every time we go to the track, there are TRACK OFFICIALS there. And there job is too keep things in order. And the average age of people drag racing cars at the track is probably in the mid 30s to 40s. I'm not defending anybody leaving trash around, or oil, or whatever. That's bunk and those people are just plain disrespectful. Focus your efforts on finding the people who left the oil spills, trash, etc and straighten that out. But don't blame a guy for jumping in and riding a bit.

Re: Distrubing News From Lakeland

GSE MIKE...........the guy you seem to be pissed at on this thread said the oil spots were there and he marked them off with trash but cleaned it back up when he left........why such anger at him?

anyway that sucks if your guys legal spot to ride at is shut down permentaly. i have never been to lakeland drag strip so i dont know how it is setup but why dont all you guys get together and convince the owner to charge maybe like 5-10 bucks to get in and still sign the waiver you are talking about......the money should convince him to open back up for you guys........and put more trash cans around so people get the hint to clean **** up.............but i might be worng...there might be trash cans all over the place i have never been there to see it.....just a thought and opinion...good luck with everything and i hope for you FL riders that the place opens back up quickly

Re: Distrubing News From Lakeland

I don't want to get into a heated argument but like I said I " thought " it was free, hence no officials, to be able to pay, AND for ME even the more incentive to keep the place clean and eventful free. How many stunters can say they have a FREE spot to ride with no cop harrasment, and all they have to do is ride responsibly, with a couple of rules, no questions, oh yeah and at almost anytime they want. Some people just don't get it .

I can see why their so pissed

Re: Distrubing News From Lakeland

OK...I now know what parties that where responsible.

This people were of course from out of town. Now some of them have been to the track and know the rules. I WOULD THINK THESE GUYS WOULD HAVE SOME RESPECT. BUT I GUESS WHEN YOU THINK YOUR THE ****, NOTHING ELSE MATTERS.......

I WOULD LIKE TO COME AND WRECK YOUR SPOT.
THANKS.

All i can say is that i hope the owner understand that we have to take special measures for VISITORS like it was an event. And have TRUST in the LOCAL riders, so that they may practice with the understanding of takeing care of the track....and being respectfull and gracious.

And to the ******* that might have **** it up, If i ever get to your spot.
Ill act like a Visitors as well.

Re: Distrubing News From Lakeland

Don't worry guys. I'm sure this will all work out one way or another eventually. The owner knows it wasn't the locals who caused the problem. Those ******** need to get their asses kicked. I bet they are really scared right now!!

One day when I'm rich (laugh) I'll have a track for you guys and I'll only let locals in.

Re: Distrubing News From Lakeland

That does suck about your spot. GSE_Mike your sitting here telling poeple that they have no right being there if they didn't know about the waiver. Well where is the track officals at the entrance gate to get on the track. Why weren't they ( track officials or someone that knows what's going on ) there to collect the waivers, make sure they are filled out proplerly, make sure everyone riding has filled one out? What would of happend if someone got hurt and didn't sign the wavier? It would have been the tracks fault and the people in charge. There is noboy to blame here but the track personal and the people in charge. That is only for the part about letting certain people ride there.

Now about the trash and the oil. You should not just be pissed off at the people that left the mess. You should also be upset at everyone that was there that day. Everyone knows there had to have been local riders and people that know what is going on, riding there. You should be upset at the local riders there that day also for not having the ***** to tell the others to clean up their mess. I know if I was a local and at the spot and seen faces I didn't know, I would of went up to see what's going on and if they knew the rules. Plus I know if I was a local I sure the hell would not leave non local riders riding by themselves at the " LOCALS " spot and I would make sure that everything is squared away before they left. No you should not have to babysit but you know everyone is not on the same page. Just like in the military, if one person fu(ks up, then everyone pays. As from the sound of it, that is just what happend. You probably could careless about my but I am a the type of guy that likes to help and donate so heres my

I also hope every thing works out with the track. Try to get up with the owner, try to talk to him and come up with new rules. Good luck to all you local riders down there.

Do you need somebody to hold your hand to get across the road? i don't think so. Only children need that kind of attenion.

Your riding on an international speedway. Do you think its somekind of clubhouse in your buddies yard. NO this is not a playground for phuckin punks who don't know better. I don't know any locals that were there as of yet. But it does NOT sound like there was. IF THERE WERE LOCALS THERE THIS WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED. And if im wrong...... well than i guess i don't know people like i thought.

Grow up and have some phucking respect.
