12 O'Clock Bar on a CR 250
Re: 12 O'Clock Bar on a CR 250
i made one for an XR100.. if I can find it you can have it for the cost of shipping. i sold the bike without it
homedepot has threaded rods, get the biggest one you can and the nuts that go on it.. i used automotive exhaust pipe as the bar..i burned big holes in it and put the bar through there... i used radiator clamps to run it along the frame.

The metal used for my bar we picked up at Homedepot. Was pretty gnarly learning at first. I started with my left foot in the bar and right coverin the rear brake. Learned pretty fast. the only thing i worry about on a 250 is the power band kickin in. And doing stoppies ive fliped a few times and had the bar right on my head.
We- bolted it to my sbframe w/ 4 bolts. After a few months my subframe was done for.. Broken in 3 places (one point were the bolt was drilled through the frame)
I drew in red the renforcements.

damn man thats sweet! I think ill go out and look and see about it. Moun it in the 4 holes where the fender goes, I just want to ride it like that for a lil while, not for really long lengths.
