Re: Frame Sliders....Extended or Regular?

I run some big *** sliders that my friend makes. They work real good. I havent been in any hairy crashes with em but I have dropped my bike about 10 times practicing circles and havent messed anything up yet. The reason I like the big sliders over the regular ones is because they keep your rearsets and clipons from touching the ground. If you dont have big sliders or a cage, you know that these items get busted alot. My friend sells em for like 45 bucks to the local cats. I run em cause they were free and they seem to work well for what they are. I'd much rather have a cage though. Heres a pic. There are more in my gallery. Some of the pics in the galary dont show the slider on the left side cause the guy that makes them was making me a new aluminum insert that was supposed to be better than the original one so I had taken the slider off.
