I know, I know, katana is a pos, but i got a hold of one for 300 and i wanna learn all kinds of wicked stunts on it. 300 bux isn't a huge loss if i wreck bad. It needs carbs cleaned, and headlight, blah blah, but I was wonderin what would be a good setup for the sprockets, don't need to go faster than 90 top speed, slower is ok, I just wanna be able to pull it up pretty easily. thanx

 

is this your first bike?? if so learn the basic before starting slow stuff

Nope, not my first bike, I've been practicing on fourwheeler, slow standups, 12s, and when i first try on a bike i don't want to mess somethin nice up. I can do wheelies and endos on my yzf600r but i'm sellin it and gonna save up for somethin nicer, the katana will just be my entertainment till i got the 13Gs for somethin in the 1000cc range, or the 8.5 for a f4i or r6. Just want some suggestions on what to do to my katana to make it easier to stunt.

i would say gear the hell ouf it it, AT LEAST -2 +5, and maybe build a cage or somehting for it. i dont think you will be able to buy a cage for that. thats about all you need. wouldnt waste money on a headlight and **** like that though if you are just gonna beat the **** out of it.

 

gears are the best ,,,,they are fun to put on your bike, they are nifty, they are cool, they are shiny, they are pointy, they are hard , they make a clank noise if you throw them on the ground.

 

i agree, don't waste any $$$ into this "can a tuna" just stunt it.
just put gears on it and go. only fix what you have to if you crash it. by the way, you don't plan on spendin big coin on a new bike if all your gonna do is stunt it, are you? buy somethin used so you have the extra $$$ to buy stuff
for when you do crash. cause you will crash no matter how good you are.
