hey if anyone can help me out, i need to know if anyone has ever written a letter to their city hall or any other town hall to try and make a designated area to stunt where the police will leave you alone
if you guys have done this or if not but have some ideas for me to put into this paper that im goin to be sending the city hall in CT let me know

buy a plot of land and build your own pad. other than that good luck.

 

im not to sure a city would go for something like that you would have to but your own land and pay a **** load to pave it

if i was you i would drive around your city and try to find and area that's good place to stunt.plus if you find a place the day to head out to that spot is on sunday's .Mostly every busniess is close and they won't say anything and they will never know you were there.

 

this is what i do in my area of my city is driveing around even thought is suck to sit in a car driving around ,but bring some friends with you they might have some ideas of some area's.look for loading areas that big companies use.try to stay away area's with house and families they will be quick to call the cop's on you.find busniess that went out of busniess and try to keep the place's you stunt at quiet b/c if alot of people find out it's all over for everybody when someone see alot of cars and people in empty place doing some . i hope that help's. good luck

 

Why not? Skaters get their parks, model airplanes get their parks, why the hell can't we get a designated piece of land that anybody can stunt on? I know it attract only the finest crowd but sh*ts not fair

 

Its possible, I was stationed in Beaufort, S.C and we were told with enough signatures it was possible. IT was a old road the cops used to practice there driving and other than that nothing else was there so they said that with the right paper work we could designate day and times and they would close the street off and let us ride.

As for getting signatures I dont see why anyone wouldnt sign, just ask them would they rather you ride on a private road or do it everywhere else which do they think is safer.

Unfortunetley I got transferred before we ever had chance to follow up on it.

 

I have worked on doing the same thing with my shop. You need to buy a plot of land. Then you need a lawyer draw up papers to make it a club. Then you need to have any one who rides there needs to join the club and sign a no sue ride at your own risk waiver. The reason you make it a club is when you get a smart *** poser there and he hurts im self. He rich daddy has no way of sueing since you are in a club it is like sueing your self. There is alot more invloved stuff also. I hope you do it I have been working on it for a while. lots of $$$$

 

Just go try to find some industrial business loading areas. I found one 5mins from my house. I was caught sunday night there by some guy working inside. I asked him if it was cool to ride, he said it was totally cool. He watched me only for a few secs(probably cause i suck).

 

around here that didnt work at all, we tried several times, we also tried the local races track on days they were closed, no intrest. thats why we are working on buying land and laying some road down and eventually building my new house on this land. the land is cheap, the road is expesive but im trying to finance the cost into the loan of the land.

its like buying land and building your own house, but we are buying land and laying road.

 

yeah the streets and parking lots but don't let the cops know

last i knew i paid a membership fee to have our spot to fly our model planes...and it's not cheap.

 

Ive thought about talking to the local cops but I would think a petition would be pretty far fetched, but I guess anythings possible and Ive been told numerous times to "GET THE HELL OFF THE ROAD" so I think some people would sign it. GOOD LUCK
