ive rocked stock gearing on an f4i and i do just as well as on my gsxr750 with -3+6. its all about being smooth. you got less room for error with stock gearing cause your revs are lower when your walking it. its doable. emrock knows whats up.
you have a 98 750... don't worrry about it.. just rock out
its all about the bike. My bike with messed up carbs and bogging all over the place is real hard to rock with stock gearing, now i could prolly do it, but it would be hard to stay smooth. If you have a newer fuel injected bike or a bike with nicely set up carbs, you should be good.

how do I slow that **** down? I think if I slow it down I'll be able to control it better. Once it's up there I hit the brake and pull in the clutch...what the f@ck???????????? Pawpaw gets it on the snap. He snaps it up about half an inch from his tailsection, and just keeps it there that way he's not accelerating or having to slow it back down, unless he wants to. I believe he's feathering the clutch when he rocks it to where the engine will stall if he don't, it's pretty crazy, and can't I just stall, lol.
Oh and yeah, well all Idle it up to about 3, I do 4K on mine.
