Question Pro Stunters

If most of your fans seen these boards, do you think it would hurt the sport by all the bickering, money,I'm the best etc...etc...?

Also say you are a parent, you and your kids are into the street stunts. Do you see anyone your kids can really look up to in the sport?? Lets face it -you can still be a good parent and your kid idolize a athelete.

Just wonderin- I have taken my 4yr old out to Kennedale and he loves it, but there is just (some) and that is just some things behind the scenes I dont want him to see. Is he too young do I have him in a place thats not for young people? I thought this sport like most caters to the young. I also like to let him watch the videos but I have to skip certain areas. ya know

Just a thought, would like to see what the Pro's think about the younger crowd.

I know that we have done many shows and all of them are family oriented to the best of our ability..... even to the point we go to hide to have a smoke.... kids see that and notice it a lot more then adults do. We also try to keep our board somewhat clean from the ****... with the exceptional your gay comment and stuff like that.

I think that a lot of kids can def look up to most pros as they most of them know how to act around kids.

I agree with you. That's why our team is trying to clean up the act. Better stuff in the video, that the young people can watch. This is not just for us, but is for the entertainment of the youth. We just got to remember to be role models.

TEACH C6 will become famous soon enough
i'm a teacher so i am constantly aware of the image i put forth....hence, i try not to swear, dont drink or smoke, and am very friendly in front of and to all people in attendance at events...

i try to carry myself in a professional manner as often as i can...do you think i want my students' parents seeing me doing some chick while burning a J on video??/

you are right though, the younger crowd is where the future is, where the future will always be...time waits for no man....

i brought up the same point a few months ago. about how without parent's money buying stuff for their kids and wanting and supporting their kids. this spot will never be huge (main stream). when i said it then, alot of people acted like i didnt know ****.
i just happy to see everyone starting to see how their actions off thier bikes. have just as much impact as when we are on our bikes.

Patrick??? Are we talkin Patrick Stephens???? Yeah he's a good role model he rides kid's around on the tank w/no hands and no helmet.

Actually my boy has seen Pat ride more than anyone else and I believe hes his FAV. He'll point him or his bike out to me in the vids or at the show. He has seen DTE and XXX vids and likes
them as well.

Does any of the groups have posters? We been thinkin he would like that but I haven't seen any.

i know our team isn't made up of the most talented riders out there, but we put on a great......great show for the crowd. for anyone who wants to be entertained and take the family out without worry come to one of our events. alot of fun. i sometimes ride a furred out bike and wear a gorilla suit wich kids either love or scares but usually they love. our video is as family friendly as you can get...probably why we didn't get adeal....but all in all there are two different approaches that we do......competitons and shows.....we try to be on our best behavior at both. it just keeps it professional. thats' what sponsors etc.....want.

Swurve is exactly right, and that's why we keep our shows as kid friendly as possible. If you would think before you type you would realize that parents want to spend time with their kids and if they have to get a sitter in order to come to a show chances are they whined up not doing either!!!
I have nephews and nieces that love coming to our shows and watching our videos. I'm even more proud of the fact that they can watch them and I don't have to cover their eyes or ears at certain points.
I glad to see that we are not the only team that believes you don't have to have constant swearing and half naked people to draw a crowd, rather let your talent draw the crowd for you. Trust me, they stop thinking of you as a punk and more so as someone who can be a role model.
