12ing ... rear brake question

OK ....so I am scrapin a little now, and I was wondering if it would help if I put HH pads on the rear caliper with a steel line??? What is a good price for the line? The best price I have seen is $40. Better control for 12ing ?????

everyone may have their opinions, but i say keep it stock. Steel lines seem to make the rear brake too touchy in 12s. And the stock pads work just fine and will last longer.

Use stock pads...the HH grabs very quickly...Try to stay off the brake as much as possible to reduce brake fade...Thats the hard part. I have a steel line but didnt really notice a difference. Save your money...Roll stock.

you want 'feel' with your rear brake.... the sintered HH pads provide 'bite' and stop right when brake is applied..

ideally you would want to use softer racing pads.. (although for the most feel out of racing pads they need to be warmed up)

yeah what he said you have 40 to spend on brake pads and line but you cant go and drop ten buck at home depot for some thin *** steel, you should just go spend your money on a honda, because you are going to be constantly bended and ripping stuff off your gixxer
