NO MORE R6..... 929 time

Well i am possibly getting a 929 soon. I wont have much time to ride it this season but i am PUMPED about next season. The r6 was cool but the lack of low end power and super high and small balance point made it too hard to do standups for longer than a few seconds. So im getting a 929. I dont want to do 12's or anything. Just ride mean standups. So is this a good bike for it? Can you bounce third gear on these? How high is the balance point?

It'll do anything you have the skills to make it do(as will almost any bike). You can bounce up 3rd gear stand ups on your r-6 if you want. It's all about technique on a 600. ........Great balance point on a 929 though and plenty of power(bounce up 4th if you like. lol).

If you cant do standups on an R6, it is not because the bike is slow. The bike has 100 or so horsepower. if you cant get a 100 HP featherweight bike to wheelie, it is because you suck....not for any other reason. i have ridden many r6's and most you can yeank up with no clutch in third or second and go as far as you want. your wheelie technique apparently needs work

So the balance point on a 929 is good, how about a 954? I'm not really familiar with what was changed from one to the other, but I thought it was mostly just an engine change.
