Thank you for replying.... 2.Yes at Starboyz Stuntfest 2002...
3.Very cool....easy to approch.
4.Yes...makes me try to go the extra mile with riding
6.Yes...Kyle just simply puts a smile on everyones face...that is good to have in a sport where we are all already looked like ********....
1. i like most people on this site, knew about kyle from stuntlife and videos. urban streetbike warriors most notably
2. i first met him at stuntwars then psychofest and a couple of other shows.
3.kyle is very nice and very funny. he also is famous for some dumbass sayings that make no sense but keep you trying to figure them out for a few minutes.
4.ya, at stuntwars i never was around that caliber of riders and was very nervous. i went over the mound at the end of the track and actually puked. patrick actually almost landed his ttr on me. anyhow kyle poked alittle fun at me and encouraged me to unload my bike and start riding.
also he was a huge help at psychofest.
5.n/a
6.he is a huge impact on the sport..not only in riding. he raises the bar everytime he rides. he also really helps out at events keeping them running smoothly, even the ones that aren't too organized. wich is important...fan's don't like dicking around or anouncers that don't know the tricks.
i'm gonna add one 7. if your at an event that kyles at you have to be in the group that goes to dinner........that guy is a trip at the resturant

yo kyle is a beast, have you seen him stand one foot on the tank and balance.
i met him at moroso, just walked up to him and started to talking to him, he was like is this your bike, i said yes, he said ready to go stunt!
my first impression is that this guy takes time out of his very busy days inorder to please everyone he comes in contact with, a people person.
he taught me how to get outta the way, when gorka is pulling long stoppies, he has also motivated me to want to be better in this sport.
his face is everywhere, you see his pics on the internet, and when his videos are on stuntlife, you are like WTF can he slow down so i can catch up, hell yeah he helps this sport, everyone who stunts has heard of kyle woods
hes a great speaker, he mc'ed at the superfest in daytona, he got the crowd started.

Here's how I met kyle and the magazines will love a story like this.
I met kyle about 2 1/2 to 3 years ago. He PM'd me on SBN one day because he knew I was local and asked me to come ride with him. The next weekend Kyle was out of town in Daytona I think and a friend of mine was stunting at a warehouse that Kyle stunted at. Kyle mentions it in Urban Streetbike Warriors when he talks about "Devils somthing formely know as Heavens Gate". My fried wrecked and as Kyle said in Urban Streetbike Warriors "A dude flipped a stoppie and put a peg through his dome". My friend was rushed to the hospital where he laid in intensive care for several weeks in a coma. He had severe brain trauma and today he's basically a vegitable
. So its a week later, we were all at the hospital just waiting around to see our friend. I jumped in the elevator and a guy followed behind me. He was carrying videos and shirts. I didn't know who he was and I asked if he was here to see our friend Rob. He said yes and I asked how he knew Rob and he said "I don't know him, but I heard that he was stunting and wrecked and is in bad shape. I ride for a group called TripleXtreme so we all signed some videos and shirts and I thought I would come by and drop them off and spend some time with him to help him cheer up". I noticed on his mechanic's shirt his name was Kyle and I was like "oh **** your kyle woods, I'm Eric aka: underzen from SBN". He was like "oh **** nice to meet ya I have been PMing you to come out and practice with us". So Kyle hung out at the hospital with about 30 of us and shot the ****. It ended up that the nurses wouldn't let us see our friend that nite because they did not want us stimulating his brain because his brain would swell.
Since that day me and Kyle have been friends and talk all the time. We have done several business deals together. He is an all around down to earth guy. He got my respect when he showed up by himself to see some guy he didn't know in the hospital who was a fellow stunter. He didn't have to do that but he did it because thats the way Kyle Woods is.

alright nadine ur gonna need to spell/grammarcheck this one for me (basically translate it to engrish!...............im a video guy not a english teacher
)
Kyle Woods................where to start. Basically its like this.........here is a guy who came out of nowhereandhas had the talent in life to progress to greatness in damn near anything hes been involved in. So what does he do when he comes to the sport of stuntriding..................he owns it! Well u couldnt tell it though by the way he acts..............ud think with his attitude towards everyone he encounters that he is just some guy tryin to get to know everyone and everything involved in the sport and in life. I personnaly have spent countless hours on the phone with him and on the advice given there alone both in the industry and in life ive couldnt have had spent my time any more wisely..................then there are the times ive spent with him in person.......its amazing to me that a guy as busy as he is can not only find time to talk with and shake hands with any and everyone one he approaches but also to take the time to talk, give advice to and or just laugh and joke with anyone like he has known them all his life. Granted alot of people do it but this is a guy who genuinly cares about everybody he has these conversations with this I know for a fact. In a world where time is money and people dont have time for anything but themselves kyle has found his own niche. He makes the peple hes around not only laugh and smile but he has an amazing ability to make the most dismal person do the most important thimg in the world...........BELIEVE IN THEMSELVES. When i met Kyle a while back it only took one conversation with him for him to change alot of the outlook ive had on alot of things in this sport.............his generosity both to the people in the sport and to the average Joe is bar none! Kyle has a past we all do and kyle has made mistakes in life, we all have.................there is an old saying "there but by the grace of god goes I" I honestly believe that one quote really nails Kyles outlook and attitude in life. He has seen it all and has learned from it it has been just those experiences in life that I believe make Kyle the guy he is today and its the daily reminders he has of that time in life that make him the man he is today.................like i said we have all been down a road at sometime in life that if we had to do it again we wouldnt have turned down................but how many of us have looked back on that road and used it as a guide on how not to pave the one we travel on now...........Kyle sure as hell has. There arent alot of people in life that will tell u what time it is but do it in a way that makes u understand that its being said for the best. Kyle is and will continue to be that guy! And im proud to call him a friend..................

I dont know Kyle personally but he has responded to a couple of my posts on realdanger.com (im Elev8 there). He seems to be a real cool guy who isnt afraid to help out (and not clown) the beginners like me. Definately one of my inspirations for stunt riding among the others in Triple Xtreme and some other teams. Before my team goes out to practice we always check out the Moroso vid to get hyped. Impact on stunting scene, definately, however there are people changing it and impacting it everyday. He does bring a certain style to it. His little scenes in JD2 are freakin funny. Im awaiting one of those Nike style commercials but instead of Tiger everyone says "I am Kyle Woods" haha.
Damn, that's all I gotta say about that....Truly great people out there that go unrecognized until someone like yourself steps up. Very good stuff, and always good to see bikers watching out for each other because it is a family.
Yo for real, Gorka, that hit me deep. After coming home after working 13hours, thats awesome. Nice to see when we get down to things, there are lots of good people still around

Over one year ago, I moved in with Kyle. I came down to florida in my truck with nothing but my clothes and my bike to follow my dream. At that time,Kyle had his auto repair shop and was doing very well. I don't know how, because every hour someone was stopping by with a problem with their car and kyle would stop what he was doing and usually fix it for free. Never bitching and always putting everyone ahead of him with that friggin' million dollar smile on his face. Since then, he closed his shop to take himself and a few select riders on what would be an adventure of a life-time. Curacao, Barbados, Aruba. St. Lucia is next, then another island. What would I be doing and where would I be without him. I can't begin to tell you how much he's done for me. I have a good story for ya: I've been wanting this particular Movado watch for some time. It's like $1200 bucks. Kyle knows I'm the type of guy to get fixed on something and I know what I want. We're in Barbados doing the show there. After we get done, the next day we go shopping. We're in all these shops and jewelry stores looking at all kinds of crap. I see the watch and tell him "yo, check that out. It's the one I was telling you about." (Earlier that day, I told him that I was going to spend more of my time with real estate and take a little time away from the sport.) We finished shopping and went back to the hotel. Kyle grabbed the money from his suitcase and went back and bought it for me. He told me it was a gift, and that he wished me well in my real estate venture. He said he wanted to see me succeed, and remember where it came from. Selfless. Nobody but maybe my parents have done more for me than Kyle. The tattoo on my back was a gift from him. I'll look at my tattoo in the mirror for the rest of my life and be reminded of what a friend really is. Every time I look down at my watch I see the selfless act of an individual who's inspired me beyond belief. I love him like the brother I never had and my only regret is that he hasn't been in my life longer.

I moved from MN to FL to help out my Dad after he lost his wife in April of 2002, I spent 1 year in Florida.
While in Florida I learned my love for stunting, this was helped by a person I considered a mentor and friend....Kyle Woods.
I was touched by Eric's post about the guy in the hospital in a coma, that sounds like something Kyle would do. I visited Kyle the next morning after he wrecked at 95/Atlantic warehouses when he slipped off the peg doing a seat stander and landed head first on the pavement. He tried to shake it off, but I knew he was hurting. He ended up leaving and going to North Broward ER for a concussion. When I showed up at his house the next day he was druged up with the head wrap on. I felt bad for him, and I was concerned about his welfare.
Let me start from the beginning now....I got to Fort Lauderdale and I wanted to scope out the riding scene so I went for a drive in my hooptie Honda. I ended up finding Fuddruckers Friday Night Bike Night. I think the first night I was there Kyle, Brock and Joe were there....I didn't realise how special the appearance was until long after that when they hardly showed up much.
I followed them in my car to the stunt spot. We ended up off SW 10th street and 95 in the business park. I parked and watched them start rollin endos and doing slow 12s. I think we got kicked out after about 45 minutes, then we went over to this spot in Boca where they were building a business park near Hillsboro and 441. This is where I finally got introduced to Kyle, he came up to me and said "hey what's up, I'm Kyle". I told him my name is Jeff and I just moved here from MN and that I didn't have a bike yet but that I was saving for one and would have it soon. First impression he was very warm and welcoming. He was on his red tank bike that night and he was doing ape hangers, something I'd never seen in person. I was truly amazed and went home and told my Dad all about it.
I think I bumped into Kyle more and more at Fudds and eventually he told me where he worked, so since I wasn't working for a lot of the time I was in Florida I stopped by his shop often. He always had a smile for me and a warm hand shake. He looks you in the eye when he talks to you and makes you feel heard. Even though he's famous and could have a big head, he's stays HUMBLE and grateful.
I spent many days at Kyle's shop hanging with Chauncey, Brock and Gorka. I even got the opportunity of a lifetime. To ride with all of those guys one night. It was shortly after I got my yellow R6. I stopped by Kyle's shop and let him ride it so he could tell me if he thought "it wasn't the fastest 600 he's ever ridden", he came back and said it was very fast!!! God knows how many wheelies he pulled on it while he was gone! It came back in one piece and I was happy. I think he said that since Chauncey was in town, all of the guys were going to go for a ride that night, I asked him if I could join them.
About the ride with Gorka, Chauncey, Brock, Kyle and Willis: we started out at Kyle shop in Boca. We stopped by the Amoco to get some gas and gum/food etc. Then we jumped on 95 and headed south to Ft. Lauderdale. Willis proceeded to stand on his back pegs and ride about a 8 mile long stand up with Gorka, Chauncey, Kyle and Brock watching. We got to downtown Ft. Lauderdale, all of them were doing endos at every stoplight and riding mad slow wheelies right down Sunrise Blvd. It was good ole fashion street riding at its best. I was honored to ride with the best in the industry. It was a night I will remember for a very long time!
Oh, I remember exactly how I met Kyle now. I sent him an email after getting on their website one night. He set me back a nice email where in it he said "anytime you want to come over to our house, you're welcome to". Since it was right down the block from my Step Sisters house I stopped by often. I don't know if Joe Brown liked me stopping by unannouced, but Kyle and Brock was always welcoming.
I was there when Patrick Stevens and Danielle came to town from Dallas to visit and show Triple Xtreme his new video "SportbikeHype". We watched it together at the xXx compound. Then Patrick wanted some feedback from Kyle and Brock. I listened as they gave it.
We later went out to party at some bars in West Palm Beach that night. Kyle didn't go but Gorka, Chauncey, Brock, Brock's girl, Patrick and Danielle were all along for the fun. It was such an unbelieveable experience to be just hanging out with these famous stunters. We had a great time that night. After the bar, we went to Lauderdale and drove around in Patrick's rental car trying to find some people stunting at 95/Alantic warehouses. We ended up not finding anyone there on bikes, but we proceeded to beat the crap out of the rental car doing some circle burnouts. We attracted some unmarked cops that tailed us to 95 then pulled us over and collected all of our IDs, we had all been drinking including driver Patrick. THANK GOD THEY LET US GO!!! No tickets....we were sweating it though (weren't we Gorka?).
Anyway, back to Kyle. I spent a lot of time at their house and at Moroso shows over the year I was in Florida. I even got a chance to go to Air Dania(motocross track) in Lauderdale with Kyle. It was just me and him I was following him to the big dirt jump place and it was so cool that he would "take me in" like that and just hang with "little ole me". It showed me that he was the most:
1) Down earth people I've met in my life
2) Humble
3) Caring
4) Kind
5) Faithful Friend
6) Welcoming
7) Supportive
8) Outgoing
9) Compassionate
10) Friendly
11) Charismatic
12) Diplomatic
13) Fun to be around!!!
He has a great postive outlook on life and always looks to have fun everyday!!!!!!!!!!!!
We all love Kyle!!!
