Poll? How much do you have invested?

ME

$6,000 GSXR 600
$1,000 XR 50 beat to death
$1,000 XR 50 stolen
$1,000 XR 50 w/ another $400 in parts
$200 CH150 scooter abandoned
$2,500 School Bus for Transportation and Pimpin CC Style
atleast $1000 in fines and lawyers
atleast $3,000 in traveling expenses
atleast $2,000 in parts and accessories (stator covers, sprockets, chains, helmet, leather.)

this is all within the last 2 years. grand total almost $20,000 invested in stunt riding.

probably be another $5,000 in fines and lawyers if I still rolled the streets.

oh yeah and I just bought a Power Mac G4 for $3000 used for editing and other production use. we won't consider that stunt material though.

NOW YOU SEE WHY I BITCH ABOUT SHITTY PAYOUTS AND SQUIDS STEALING SHOWS!? for free none the less.

I don't have anywhere near that much in it if I stick to stunting, but if it's bikes in general I've spent a lot. BTW, just what is the current color of that CC bus?

James.

Hehehe, you guy should try Road Racing for a season. Stunting is dirt cheap! Below are the costs for a season if you don't want to win.

(canadian prices)
Stock GSXR600 - $12k
Slipper Clutch - $2k
Tires - $7k
Entry fees - $2k
Motor Build up - $3k
Rims - $600
Rotors - $1000
Fork Work - $800
Shock - $2k
Arai Helmets - $700 (3)
Rear Sets - $500 (2)
Bodywork - $1000 (2)
Paint - $500
Crash parts - $5k
Damper - $700
Lap Timer - $400
Tire Warmers - $500
Flights - $1000

I'll assume those prices are in canadian, if not you need someone to whack you in the head, because you're being overcharged on EVERYTHING.

Yes, they are Canadian.

1 USD is worth about $1.37CAN. So it's about 0.73.

Natually I try to get all the sponsorship I can find... so things happen a wee bit cheaper from time to time.

It's really too bad race tires are too sticky for decent burnouts because I could get my hands on tons and tons.

Hey Rodg,

Tell me when you start spending real money on this sport. Cause compared to the guys that have been in it for a while, the guys that are truely growing our spport, your talking pocket change. And I don't hear them bitchin'.
Just once I would like you to shut your ****ing mouth and do something positive for this sport. Your the wart on the *** of our sport. You run your ball washer about how great you are but you have yet to impress me. ONLY because with your talent comes that "I can use a break, so everyone needs to bow down to me attitude". Invent a trick, host a show, keep your mouth shut, any of these things would help improve our sport. You think your doing us all a service by pointing these things out. Your not, because you've never once offered a reasonable solution.
In short, take your number and shut the **** up, and when we (true pros) get things running right we might just call on you to load our bikes.

With Love,
Thew

thew try this on for size. the day/year/decade stunting becomes a REAL sport with REAL money involved and I get paid to practice/compete/ride all I want. I will call you to load my bike. Because WHEN that happens you will see WHAT I'm capaple of.

love, rodger
