i rode a buell for about 2 years. I was learning stand-ups on the front pegs, and going about 50 mph, my left peg broke. the only way my fat *** could do a stand-up was on the back pegs, which is just as well since you can't bring it up above 60 on the front anyway. when i came down off my first good stoppie, i broke all five of the sproket bolts, trying to step off to skitch off the side, peg broke again. learning 12's, the oil pisses all over the side of the bike, and the first time i did a stoppie after replacing my rotor, it warped. it's like you are braking with waffles. there is a cool conversion for dual discs if you get a zx7rr caliper, which i found on craigjones.com a year ago... by then it was too late.
the only way anyone would wheelie buells daily should be with a full sponsorship. of course i am pushing 300 lbs... maybe that is it? dunno, no problems with the 900rr yet aside from the motor issues.
