anyone ever swap out forks between gsxr 750/1000?? Wondering if I can install a set of 1000 forks on a 750. Both are 2001. Will it be the exact same? triples and everything too??

 

I'm pretty sure they are. Might try checking the part numbers on the triple clamps to see if they are the same then you would know for sure. Or just get some calipers and measure the fork diameter.

They are a straight swap... I know, so trust me... I woldn't bother though. The Showa forks on the 750 are better than the KYB forks on the 1000. The 1000 forks just look cooler and have stiffer springs, other than that they suck compared to the showas. I would just get some stiffer springs in your 750 forks.
I also know of guys that put the 750 forks on their 1000's for better handling

 

the forks are a straight swap just have to keep the calipers with the rotors and you can put the 750 brake hardware on the 1000 or vice versa
