I stunt a 2002 r6 and I have a DSC crash cage. Everytime I drop the bike ( which i do a lot considering im a noob) the two main 12 mm bolts behind the slidders bend and i have to replace them. This has also caused my cage to bend slightly as well. Is there a way to prevent this? What grade bolts should i be using?

 

What brand crash cage do you have? It may be better to contact the vendor/company about your issues.

 

if you have a local nut/bolt shop take one of the bent ones to them have the threads matched and length of the bolt, but just get a stronger one

 

get like a grade 8 bolt

 

You're either using cheap hardware or have a poorly designed frame if that keeps happening
