Well I'm in need of a bunch of answers ASAP so ill Paypal someone $10 who can answer all or most of my questions.
I found a good deal on a 04 636 and a 2005 r6 and don't know which one to get. I've had a 636 before but always wondered about the r6 for the lot. I want to be able to do bar tricks with no motor problems. Back when I had my 636 everyone was trying to figure out the Kleen air mod but nothing was working at the time. I heard Ed from legion had a setup that worked. So basically my questions are:
1.Is there a Kleen air mod now that solves the bar trick motor problems ? Can I drag a 12 for 10 seconds without smoke pouring out?
2.Same with the r6. Any motor problems at 12 with an aftermarket oil pickup?
3. The last company's I remember are like powers, FI, SI, mxd, 905, hohey. What other stunt company's have popped up since then and what parts are junk for these bikes and what's the best parts for these bikes now?
4. 03-04 636 vs. 2995 r6. What's your thoughts?
5. Which frame is stronger. if i pancake a watchtower am i going to be breaking a frame?
6.I don't have the time to search for all of this and actually I just really don't feel like it so I'd rather be lazy and pay for some answers

 

#1, some smoke will come out, but it wont pour out for what I have seen.
#2,i would say it depends on what type of aftermarket pickup you go with

#4, for me I have riden yamaha's all my life and never had a problem with them but that has been dirt bike's. as for kawasak they make it the best they can
#5,i have never heard of any frame's cracking with the yamaha's or ninja, but really anything can happen

WTF??? 03-04 636 frames do crack after prolonged abuse, it is a know issue in the stunting world.

What part of I ride "Yamaha dirt bike's didn't you understand"??, I don't mean to be rude. he asked a question and I answered it the best I could. and for the record I had never new that 636 frames did crack. if I have offended you im sorry.

 

Not offended and not looking to start sh*t. Just didn't remember what you said in #4 by the time I got to #5. Just pointing out that if there is any bike out there with documented frame cracks from serious abuse it is the 03-04 636 or GSXR of any year.

The 636 is a great bike and the cracks only happen from serious abuse, but it can happen. And if you are worried get an f4i. I beat the hell out of mine and nothing happend to it.

So I picked up an 05 r6 last night. 11k miles for $3,400 with a few goodies. Thought it was a Perty good price. Soooo, round 2 of questions.
1. Who's got the best subframe for an r6?
2. Sounds like Atown is the shizz. Should I just buy Atown everything? I heard powers was a beast cage for the r6.
3. Is hohey still the man for dual caliper brackets?
4. Is a Kleen air mod needed for no motor/oil problems? Is an aftermarket oil pickup enough? If so pics of mod.
5. Does Kelm still stunt? I need to watch him ride to feel better about myself since I haven't stunted in a few years. xD
6. Fairing stays. Who's making the best?

where is the common place for them to crack? I have an 03 636, the front half of the frame was swapped out for steel but where the front and back bolt together its cracking right there, is that where they normally crack or do i have more to look forward to?
