adjusting handle bars

Re: adjusting handle bars
It is. What most people do is buy clip ons and flip them upside down. So that the left one is on the right side ect. Or you can get 0 degree clip ons and you don't have to flip thoes. They also rotate them out, it makes it easier for stunts (endos wheelies ect). That's what I did on my gixxer and I love it! I bought clip ons on eBay for 70. Another benefit to clip ons is when you crash you just replace the tube (like 10 or 20 $$) instead of the whole handlebar.
You can di the same thing with the stock handlebars tho. All ou need to do is grind down the nub that keeps it in place. It slides up under the top tripple tree. You can also flip the stock ones if you don't want to spend the $$

Clip ons are two pieces. The part that mounts to the fork and the handlebar that has the grips and switch boxes. Their designed so that when you crash you just bent the handlebar and that can easily and cheaply replaced. If their stock they'll be one solid piece. Google vortex clipons in images and you'll see what I'm talking about.
