just got a 1000 front end for my f4i but not looking to do the whole weld build up on the top triple i have for dirtbike bars. Any suggestions?

 

Yes.. I am using them on my 929 Front end... Get the Sp1 Version...

Ok cool, I did the same to my f4i top triple.

 

 

You know my next question is "do you know anyone who has the triple" lol

Go to www.twfracing.com, get a new top bearing for an 01 sv 650' it's 40 bucks, and get a upper and lower gsxr sad triple set. It will go right into the f4i and go lock to lock just fine. I run that setup on my 954 and it's a sturdier top triple to drill. Only thing that won't mount up is your ignition.

 

Rc51 does not fit 1000rr lower triple, only 929 or 954. And you will need a 2000 rc top triple, 2002 and newer has a larger stem hole.

 

My main concern was the stem fitting through the top clamp hole. Obviously everyone knows what i'm looking to do i just haven't been to familiar with the conversion.

 

The 1000rr lower triples pattern doesnt match the rc 51 anyway... It's same width, but pattern is different
