I have a k8 1000 and looking to add rear hb to the bar. Because of the hydraulic clutch, it comes down to two options. Get longer clip ons or make room on the stock bars. The left hand switches take up alot of room. Does anyone know somewhere to purchase a smaller all one left hand switch that takes up less room?

 

Ebay has supermoto ones that are smaller, but some people have issues because its still too long. Some guys take it off and zip tye somewhere on triple tree or front fairing? The most classy method I saw. Take a clip on, cut it down to just the length you need for the switch and put it under your top triple. My **** is just zip tied. Lol Hope that helps!

 

Although i recommended the longer clip on method cuz you probably will be dropping your bike. So with interchangeable clip on mounts you can always make your own cheap replacement handlebars from home depot! which will fit the switch stock switch!

 

That might be cool have the cut off clip on for the controls. Ordering longer clip ons might be the way to go. Do you know the size of the stock bars for a k8 1000 so I know to order longer ones?
