Carms, is your bike stock gearing? Im a very new to the stunt scene, I just started doing 1st gear power sit down wheelies. I am also trying to stoppie, but the back end wont go up for anything. I figure I;ll learn them like Id id wheelies, just time and patience.

Also, when you guys clutch the bike up, do you pull the clutch all the way in? or just enough so the engine revs?

Yes the bike is stock gearing.. Thats why he liked it so much..Also, I believe pulling the clutch all the way in and letting it out (slowley) is what gets you up..Watch that throttle hand thought! I've done it by mistake giving it too much throttle. Luckly I didnt loop it!

ok heres the deal, my friend has an 02 yzf he gots first gear sitdowns and first gear stand up already. he swears that his yzf is not powerfull enough to do 2nd gear wheelies. i think that the main reason he cant get 2nd gear wheelies is because he tries to do it just like he does 1st gear( go about 30 then let go of the trhotle and the pull the clutch) i think thats the main reason he cant do 2nd. anyone has stunt a yzf in second (not the r6) the one below that if so give some pointers so i can tell my friend,

thanks

I don't have a YZF-600R but my friend Dave does and he only has 5 less horsepower then my R6(we dyno-ed them on the same day).

I have some suggestions for your buddy though, seeing as I used to do sit-down clutched up wheelies all the time before I learned that stand-ups are "where its at".

While in 2nd gear get the rpms around 9,000 or 10,000, stand up, while keeping the rpms and speed constant PULL up on the handle bars and give a little(just a little) throttle. This is how I first started learning stand-ups and its worked for me. Have him give this a try. If 9-10 doesn't work try 10-11 rpms.....

Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!

My boy Tony TORE up his 2002 F4i. just 1 down in the front.

he'd stand 3rd up on the highway, apehangers, no throttle hands, coasts. you name it. So it shows - its not the size of the bike - its the size of the *****!!

I think my 1995 900rr should count as a 600, or even a 250. This piece of crap has about 80 horse power and can't get out of its own way. My R6 had 10x the power of this beater.

2 down & 7 up gearing now lets me play. Rear sprocket looks like a large pizza.

im done babling. thank you & have a good night.

Thumbs up

600s reppin N here, to bad no pics from me.

Yeah I know that it's not the bike but the rider. When i see peeps stunt up the 6s that just lets me know that it can be done. Some say get a bigger bike, but I want to just rip it up on the six and make the eyes pop.

Nice pics guys/gals.
