i worded that wrong..i can wheelie it but i have a hard time with the slow stuff.. like any kind of slow wheelie.. plus i can't seem to carry mine very far because everytime i try to click the next gear it just drops, or it clicks gears and i don't have enough power in the next gear to hold it up...

you got the power you just have to learn to use it....young jeti.I ride a gsxr6..I have it geared now but I used to do everything I do know on stock gearing. My boy joey G used to have a f4i and he could do it all...even 2nd gear high chairs.I have a 10 tooth bigger back and 1 down up front now...but I did't gear it untill after I learned 12's.Here's a pic of me with 1 tooth down on the front.

I only have endo pics on my R6, I'm looking for a friend to be my photographer/videotographer.

But I have a 2001 Yamaha R6, stock gearing, original clutch, jetted bigger, and a tri-oval yosh slip-on, 17,000 miles and here's what it will do with me on it:

-3rd gear stand up wheelies(10 or 11 o'clock) at about 100mph
-2nd gear stand up wheelies

No 12s yet, still can't get my foot in the right spot for covering the rear brake and slowing it down. But BTBent helped me with letting me know to put my left foot on the back peg.

Still learning, but I'm riding a 600 and I'm 6'4" 265......if I can do it you can do it!

Forgot to mention the thing about shifting while you're up.....

Its hard at first, and I still don't have it down quite yet, but YOU HAVE TO GET IT HIGHER. That is why its coming down when shifting, because its not up high enough.

Get it to the balance point, shift without using the clutch lever, and ease back on the throttle.

If you get the back brake thing down, then you won't have to worry about shifting.............cause you'll never need to get it out of 2nd or 3rd which ever one you like better.

The true test of a good stunter. Jump off the bike your comfortable with, and do the same stunts on a your friends bike(and it can't be a 900RR). Versatility makes you the best!

Lower your tire pressure and it won't break ***** (should be low for slow rolls anyway) I rode a Gixxer6 all last year doing highchairs and tank wheelies with stock everything. This year i learned how to 12 and slow roll on a gixxer 600. Just gotta use the clutch and learn to use the power it does have.

Goose, You make a good point. I can do 2nd gear stand ups on my bike, both clutching and bouncing, and I can also hop on my buddies 2000 F4 and bounce his up. He just about sheit himself because he could only do sit downs in first gear.

And to nsutke222,
Keep trying because now my buddy can do second gear sit downs and some stand-ups.

Peace,

i agree... we were at our practice spot one day and a bunch of the guys that were trying to stunt and couldn't though that it was their bikes holding them back, so they asked me to jump on and wheelie each one. I wheelied 5 or 6 different bikes like a katana, old gixxer, an F2, and even an EX 250... hahaha... also parked my boys stock, including gearing, gixxer6 last weekend. I've seen a lot of guys that think they can ride but as soon as one thing isn't perfect, even on their own bikes they can't ride for ****!!!

"i have a 10 tooth bigger rear sprocket and one down in the front"

you went up 10 teeth on the rear sprocket, did i read that right? holy cow that must be low geared, i imagine your top end suffered quite a bit, right? like, whats your top speed since then? what gearing should i go to to be able to pull the bike up in 2nd without using the clutch? i was thinking of going up 4 or 5 in the rear.. any thoughts?

oh, and by the way, PRAISE STUNTLIFE.COM because I now have a place to post questions like this and I don't get **** like
- get a bigger bike
- you are the reason my insurance is higher
- you give us all a bad name

**** all that noise..i just want some answers and you guys are gettin em for me!!

my donation will be in the mail soon!

my thought is practice

i could pull my old dog f3 up stock geared in second with no clutch, gearing just makes it come up easier that's all. i know for a fact your f4i will definitely pull up second stock probably in a sitdown even.

practice practice that's all, might not be what you want to hear, but practice haha

up 4 in the rear is PLENTY unelss you're a full time stunter, me i ride my bike a lot so runnin 80 on the highway at 10 thousand rpms is really stupid--to me.
