How do you think I look at 6' 4" 265lbs on a R6................way too big for it, right? Nah, even the liter bikes are same size as most 600s so I just got used to it.

umm, i have a gixxer 600 and have absolutely no idea how you guys pull your 6's up in 2nd with no clutch! i can crack the living crap out of my throttle in second gear and get nothing. its weird that you guys can, and my bike feels underpowered ( it cant be because i have a bolt-on, a k&n, and a power commander). honestly i can barely wheelie the thing in first most of the time; but, when it comes up, it comes up in a hurry. i have no idea how to find the balance point in 1st without looping it (although i was able to somewhat do so on my yzf ). ive gotten lucky and been able to do some pretty funky stuff (been able to pop it up for a second while perched on the tank, and nervously popped a 2 second stand-up), and wish i could get it down without having to worry about looping a simple wheelie. the power is there when i do it right, and jerks (j/p) like those on this board have pulled me into the stunt scene quickly (though ive been fooling around with short wheelies and fairly good endos for a while now). well, after whining im going to go sit in the corner and cry like a sissy wanna-be stunter would
(o yeah, on top of that, i have no idea of how to "go up" or "down" with my gearing. i understand the concept, and am wondering how this is performed. someone pm me and get me into this stunting game for shizzle. damn, been riding a few years and still this pathetic; tisk, tisk. o well, i suppose im a bit wicked with my six when i need to be )

you went up 10 teeth on the rear sprocket, did i read that right? holy cow that must be low geared, i imagine your top end suffered quite a bit, right? like, whats your top speed since then? what gearing should i go to to be able to pull the bike up in 2nd without using the clutch? i was thinking of going up 4 or 5 in the rear.. any thoughts?

oh, and by the way, PRAISE STUNTLIFE.COM because I now have a place to post questions like this and I don't get **** like
- get a bigger bike
- you are the reason my insurance is higher
- you give us all a bad name

**** all that noise..i just want some answers and you guys are gettin em for me!!

my donation will be in the mail soon!

yeah you read it right.....but my top end did suffer big time. Not that I'm worried about it cause my bike is pretty much a strait stunna! Not sure if any gearing will able you to yank up 2nd with no clutch.I can grab 4th with my gearing...with alittle clutch, and 2nd gear tank wheelies are now posible

damn, i can do a 3rd gear tank wheelie with 2 down in the front pretty easy. i clutched a 4th gear wheelie up in california with stock everything on my f4i. its funny to read all this cause most of you guys live at sea level or close and i live at 5000ft elevation. its so much harder to do stuff here then at sea level but i guess thats my i can do that stuff when i go there. i think if people learned wheelies here they would be so much better where they live. riding at sea level was so much funny after always riding at 5000ft, its was hard to get used to cause the throttle was so touchy. well enough of my rambling, its is all practice, oh and some ***** either way you look at it.

in that pic maybe 25, 30. I can hold out 2nd and 3rd gear standers at like 11:30 forever.

I don't like the way it feels 12'n with one foot on the buddy pegs, it just doesn't feel stable and its hard for me to modulate the brake. I have tried them standing. I do them real well on my quad sitting (i can ride them at 12 going like 5 mph FOREVER), the problem on the bike is the snaking. heres an idea of how bad it can get

ok so i rode with a few riders here in tulsa that I haven't seen in a while and this guy was pulling mad 3rd gear standups on his r6 with no clutch.. we talked for a while and he just said "watch what i do, and try to do it".. he would hammer it in third, stand up, lean back and tug on the bars, the front wheel would come off the ground about 8 inches or so and he would slam the throttle shut and throw his weight towards the tank and then crack the throttle wide open and lean back and the bike would just come straight up!.. so i tried it and it worked.. (not in 3rd though).. but i carried a standup for about 4 or 5 seconds (a lot for me) before i buried it in the revlimiter and came back down.. kinda of a defining moment for me.. it was the whole "ITS ME!!, NOT MY BIKE!! WOOHOO!!"..

it was awesome... then the weather turned shitty so i didn't have any time to practice much more and my arms were killin me.. he could do 3rd gear because he had 2 teeth down in the front.. i'll get some pics tonight and put em up of me ..i'm soooo proud of my lil ol F4i!

didn't think she could do it.. turns out, it was me!

jay-

if your biked is moving all orver it's problably cause your trying ot use trhottle contol instead of your brake control. i dont know it this is the case, but thats what it loooks like. it happend to me and i just made myslelf not chop the throltte and it is much smoother now. but if you can ride them on yore fourwheeler then you problay already know how and just having trouble transfering it to your street bike

bye the way-i watched your video-wich biek you riding>?

I am on the gix 600, theres not much of me in the video cause i missed alot of the photoshoots. I am the one doing most of the standup wheelies and first gear sit downs (12 attempts).

I think it is my throttle control. On a quad i am pretty nasty at 12's, but on my bike i go side to side. If i could keep it straight i could power it passed the BP and catch it with the brake. She just snakes too much.

Heres me on my quad.

same **** with me..i can 12 my quad all day, but as soon as i try to 12 my R6, it falls off the right or left on the way up...lemme know if you figure out how to fix it or get past it....i read on another thread that lowering you rear tire pressure helps for slow speed ****, so im gonna check that out this weekend....good luck with the 12s
nice pic!
