Thinking abouting stunting my 07 r6

Well, ive been thinking about stunting on my 07 r6. Ive read that the tails are very weak, so im going to have to strengthen it, which shouldnt be to bad. Plus ive found that u can find them on ebay for around 150. Be nice to hear from someone who has beefed up there stock sub frame. Ive looked and I cant find a sub frame for the r6. There are plenty for the S version, but not the regular one.

As for the cage. Sick inovations looks pretty good but I was wondering what the most popular for this bike?

Im going to give my bike a little more time to sell otherwise come summer im going to buy everything I need and join the few who stunts the r6

If you have the right steel and know how to fabricate you can make a your own subframe for cheap if anything study Bill Dixon's subframe

Re: Thinking abouting stunting my 07 r6

Bill D rides an r6 s model with r6 v model plastics so his subframe set up wouldn't help you anyway. Impaktech doesn't make subframes that I'm aware of. I'd be worried a whole lot less about your subframe than the ability to make yourself an idle adjust to get rid of that fly by wire throttle bullshit on those bikes. Anything can be done with enough time and money but that is the least likely stunt bike out of all the current 600s.

Im thinking selling is my only option. There is just not enough parts available. It be great to keep the r6 but just to much work.

There are plenty of parts available, a lot of cage companies make cages for them and hohey I'm pretty sure has a dual caliper hb kit. Your problem is the lack of an idle cable, you have to fabricate that **** and I've heard the idle still needs some tweaking after that. Be fine for just a street bike but as for anything in the lot you're gonna be struggleing

I don't think I really want to mess with it. Im thinking even if I have to take a little bit of a hit and sell the r6 for less i'd be better off. I think i am just going to have to much into this bike trying to get it ready. It can be done, but hell im seeing stunt ready bikes going for less than 4000 in my area.
