R6 hohey caliper issue~?
R6 hohey caliper issue~?
just trying to put my hohey dual caliper big rotor bracket and think it may be the wrong one?
I have an 05 R6. (5sl)
on the hoey you can see the bottom right there is an extra bit compared to the original. There is a grove cut out on th ehoey, which does slot perfectly over a nubbin thing on the inside ofthe swing arm. problem is that it will only fit so that the axle hole on the hohey is right up to the MAX adjustment, meaning theres no room to adjust backwards when the chain starts to losen.
It looks like if I grind out a bit it will sove the issue, but wondered if I have the wrong part? you can see the slot bottom right is about 2cm long, if I grind backwards I think it will allow me to slide the hohey forwards....
any help? nobody answering at hohey just now and I really could do with sorting this tonght, cos I'm supposed to have bike @ an exhibition tomorrow!!! doh.
