ok its about that time doing endos, not gonna gamble with these 03 forks breaking...


what exactly needs to be changed/ swapped in order to use the 05-06 front end
also will 05-06 bolt up to my 03 rim? will my 03 triples fit the 05/06?


some advice would be much appreciated....

also what other front ends has anybody used that works well

 

all you need are the forks , rotors and front fender every thing else will bolt right up

 

omr..good cupcakes right there....now a friend has a newer kawi w/ red forks- r those any good? i believe their 08 forks

 

people also use them but i dont really know any thing about them

the forks on the 03-04 are 45 mm tubes....most inverted frontends only have 43mm tubes...so stock are pretty beefy if u put some springs or heavier oil...

if u do go with an inverted set ull need the triples..if u go 05-06..youll need those triples as they are oddballs at 48mm outer tubes. or get a 929 set of triples and run any 50mm front u want

 

the 05 06 636 forks slide right into the 03 04 triples

i think they are the same as the 05-06, you jus need the forks an rotors
