Hey guys im not new to stunting

Thinking about the quad-caliper bracket from fullthrottle

Question

How touchy is the footbrake with a quad-piston?
I plan on rocking a dedicated caliper to the hand brake

I'm torn between the single + quad and the quad+quad. Any input is appreciated

Now go bang rev limiter.

Re: Hey guys im not new to stunting

i just switched from a 53 to a 60t so i'm just thinking i'll be twitchy in all directions with a quad footbrake. I'm afraid its going to be one of those things i'll regret if i dont go all the way and get quad/quad.

I'm just making sure it's do-able and i'm not going to be mousetrapping every .639 seconds and banging my head to wall.

Re: Hey guys im not new to stunting

I had a 4 piston for my FB and thought I liked it when I had it, but then switched back to stock single piston and I like the stock waaaaay better, the 4 piston had a ton of power but didn't have much feel, when my shoe would barely touch the pedal it would bring it back down way to easy.IMO On an f4i the single piston FB has plenty of power and plenty of feel.

Re: Hey guys im not new to stunting

I got both kinds of full throttles in stock for all bikes (that bill makes them for),

In my opinion since you have such a large sprocket you arent going to need the dual+dual.

Re: Hey guys im not new to stunting

thx blee, thats exactly the info i'm looking for. Losing foot feel was my main concern.

Naarden, expect an order for some SI sidemounts and a FT single/quad bracket here in the next day or so.

Re: Hey guys im not new to stunting

I like the 4 piston on the foot a lot. i took the return spring off completely, and that gave it much more feel, the oem return spring is way too strong.
