ok bro here is how i did mine. expose the wires coming from your fan. i have 3...red/blk/and green with a yellow strip. some have 4 or 5 and some have different colors but i am willing to bet $ that the power wire on all of em is red. run a power wire from your battery and touch it just to make sure. if it kicks on you found it. so them i just shaved a little section of the power wire coming from the fan, attatched a short piece of wire and ran it to the toggle. power and ground to the toggle direct from the battery. then i drilled a hole in my plastics and mounted the swith. make sure you zip tie all your wires and tape all your connections so the dont get tangled in the fan or get maelted and short out. probably not the best way but its how i did it bro...they say if you want something done fast find the laziest guy you know to do it. im that guy.hope this helped

run wires from the battery to the fan with a switch in the middle of the positive lead where ever you want to mount it. I would suggest going to the auto parts store and getting a blade fuse holder and putting that in there as well. Id start with a 10A fuse, if that blows go to a 15... it should be ok. its really simple. If you want to get real crazy you can twist the wires in a drill and shrink wrap them. Thats how they do it in custom cars.

I don't know anything about 636's, but can't you just bypass the temp sensor, and wire right off the harness?

Shouldn't need to run a wire to the battery I wouldn't think..

But if you DO decide to run it to the battery, make sure you fuse the wire at the battery with the proper size fuse for your wire!
