06 gixxer idle question???

I have an 06 gixxer stunt bike and I've been practicing slow wheelies and I wanted to know what I should set the idle speed at to make things easier to learn. I set my idle at 2500 but that just dosent seem like enough I find myself having to bleep the throttle to keep myself at the balance point constantly, I've seen plenty of other stunters clutch up wheelies in first and just work the rear brake to balance the bike because the idle is set so high and I just want some opinions on idle speed. I have tried to set the idle higher on my bike but If I sent it to 3500rpm or higher the idle doesn't stay steady it goes up and down between 3500-4500 does anyone know what might cause that to happen? I talked to my local dealer but thier no help help they look at me like I'm retarted when I ask them about raising my idle speed for slow wheelies. One guy even told me that I should just ride my bike the way it was intended to be risen by the manufacture!!! Lol yea ok

Re: 06 gixxer idle question???

your local dealership is not going to encourage wheelies............ at least around here, not after some kid buys a gsxr without his parents knowing and kills himself on it trying to wheelie, then the angry mom shows up at the suzuki dealership.............. which im sure has happened at dealerships all over the us
