954 question about temp and radiator

954 question about temp and radiator

sorry im posting this in the stunt section but its the most looked at and i need a quick answer. i got my raiator and fan in the mail today. it doesnt leak at all. i let it idle for a while and it got to about 208. i took it around the block and it stayed right around 216 the whole time till i came home it went up to about 224. both of those numbers are to high. its hooked up right so idk wat the deal is. any help would be awesome

Did the fan kick on at all or not? you may have air in the system. i would check that first and then see what happens.

hard wire the fan to the constant power wire . Just add a switch and bam! You gotta fan that you can turn on and off, no need to wait for it to turn on to late.
