Re: Wheelies dont pay,
NOW EVERYBODY ON STUNT LIFE PLEASE GIVE A ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR THOSE HEROS WHO RISKED THEIR LIVES ISSUING 13 WONDERFULL TICKETS TO MYSELF A 17 YR OLD WITH A PASSION TO THROW IT UP, FEEL THE NICE WIND AS I PULL IN THE CLUTCH FOCUS ON THAT BALANCE AND REV IT UP......THANKS FOR RUINING MY LICENSE, PAYING RIDICULAS INSURANCE AND GOING THROUGH THE FEELING OF GETTING LEGALLY ROBBED BY A LAWYER, AND THEN GETTING ROBBED BY THE DMV WITH THE "ASSESMENT FEES" MONTHS LATER BY THE WONDERFUL DMV....GOOD JOB HIGHWAY COPS THANKS AGAIN I WANNA BE JUST LIKE YOU WHEN I GROW UP
Re: Wheelies dont pay,
the thing that kills me the most is when you go to court for this **** they act like you are the biggest pile of **** in the world. you get a good lawyer and go there looking nice and watch 1 million and 1 scumbags that go in there, everyone knowing them by name and they get off their more serious crimes with a lil slap on the wrist.
Re: Wheelies dont pay,
Damn, you guys are making me not want to rock wheelies on the streets anymore lol. I havent been nabbed for it yet, but ive made eye contact with a cop going the opposite direction while in a wheelie before. I boned out and didnt pull it up on the streets for a couple weeks after that because it scared the **** out of me.
Re: Wheelies dont pay,
Florida is a horrible state when it comes to laws an goverment. The wheely or stunt law was enacted because of a miami politican. Junior got one not to long ago was like 1,450, unregisterd bike, impounded it, arrested him. they let him ple bargin a deal to avoid the tickett, but still he spent over 1,300. I was born an raised here in south west FL, I started driving around town in my full size bronco at 13, ran a lawn buisness an towed trailer,s most I got was a lecture, I even got pulled over for operating a lawn mower on a main highway (was on sidewalk) towing a trailer full of friend to the store. They laughed at us an said throw a triangle reflector on it an your good to go. now, it's just insane with the laws an corrupt court system's...I got 6 months probation 100 hours community service an a grand in fines for 90 on the interstate (was 70mph limit) An it was guestimated an operating a M/C with no endorsement. an a day in jail impounded bike. Yet in court this preganant girl got 3 months probation an 350 in fines an court cost for driving under the influence of an illeagle substance causing a crash with severe injurys Leaving the seen of said accident, property damage in excess of 20K no insurance no liscence an unregisterd car.

Re: Wheelies dont pay,
Im down here in AZ, i got caught pullin it up in front of the cops a couple days ago, and their was no way i was stoppin considering i just got four tickets last month. well i decided to run and ended up calling it quits about two minutes in, i hit heavy traffic and the freeway was just to far away. i got a criminal ticket for failure to stop for a police officer, and a civil ticket for cutting through private property to avoid a traffic control device, whatever that means. if any of you got any advice let me know
Re: Wheelies dont pay,
In the carlsbad NM, it a careless driving ticket, most of the time they just let us off because we are on a lone stretch of HWY, every once in a while we get poped and we have to decide if it is the time to bail out or stop because some state troopers are not as nice. another nice thing is we have a 24 hour statue of limitations unless they get your plates, so if we get seen and bail, just wait a day and then head back out and they can not even pull us over to question us about it or its harassment.
. had one city cop watch 3 of us ride a wheelie on the outskirts of town and when we passed he just waved
....... we keep our stuff to the lots and off the city streets and they know all of us, its the guys who do stupid sh*t in town that get the cops pissed, but with it being a small town they know who is who.

hope this helps solve many of your problems. (for everyone) flipaplate.com bought one already. looks cheap but works perfect for 75$ i live in ma very close to RI. i just try to stay 10-20 mins away incase i gotta run. once i start messing around i flip the switch for plate to go up. and if they have the helicopter out im only 30 mins from an airport. chopper is usually restricted form going there. (i hope). ran from the cars plenty of times. not sure if i had the chopper chasing me yet.
Re: Wheelies dont pay,
Theyre just making it so it's easier to justify running. So dumb. Just take the license for a year or do mandatory school. I would stop for that. But most people would be willing to die for money and prison time. Just saying
Re: Wheelies dont pay,
Australia is pretty sucky for the hoon laws these days.... I love watching the videos of you guys in the states having soo many places to practice... we have to find a street where no body goes in the middle of no where... I dream of the day I could go to a desserted car park and practice!! If we practiced in a car park you would be surrounded by police in no time and I everyone on a bike would lose their licenses... it's sooo crap...
I got pulled busted last year doing a little wheelie, chicks supposedly love wheelies but I tell you cop chicks don't. They impounded my bike on the spot under the new "hoon laws" for 28 days and if I had have left it then I would have lost my license mandatory for 6 months and $1000 fine + the $1000 impound fees. Luckily I spent 1700 bucks on a lawyer and he got it downgraded to dangerous driving which over here is 6 points and a 500 buck fine and no loss of license....
Most you guys have it pretty sweet being able to practice in car parks and industrial areas, the cops have really skewed the public perception over here for doing wheelies or "hooning" it freakin sucks.......
