Re: cbr600rr???? can i bypass the air box

as far as strait filters ..i dont see a problem. tee of the case vents just like a clean air mod..and get the right size filters to match up to the throttlebodies...

now the fuel line and pump.. prolly gonna have to either use the stock tank and mount it some where or make a fuel cell and mount the pump under that with a good gasket...you can also look into a universal fuel pump and run it off a fitting going to a cell. prolly gonna have to take your stock line and have a longer one made with those type of fittings at least on the throttle body end depending on what type of pump u run. good luck

Ok I am using the stock rr gas tank but without the air box that top fuel rail thing won't be there so the gas line won't book up also what are the point of the injectors in the airbox and it won't hurt not to have them?

Re: cbr600rr???? can i bypass the air box

youll lose some topend power. should run though. those secondaries are in there to help keep the afr's as the motor climbs into those crazy rpms ...10k and above

u might be able to use a bigger main injector but idk..id have to do some research.. my advise..get a power commander.. hook it up to a laptop and adjust the afr's live...and see where u can get it

Re: cbr600rr???? can i bypass the air box

Recently had a buddy do this same thing with an F4i motor.

If you can make room for the stock air box you will make your life much easier.
