hey i have an 01 cbr f4i i have 10 up in the rear 1 down in the front the clean air mod has been done but right befor balance point in the loft it boogs real bad any help

 

whats your idle set at you do the idle mod?

 

do you have your air box open on both sides, some f4i's bogg due to it taking in to much air. i used black duck tape and taped one side completely off and it worked try it out.

WHAT??? Naaaaw,an F4i that boggs???Thats weird never,ever,heard of that problem,ya must have got the only one that was built without the "antibogg injector booster"
But seriously it's less common to have an f4i that doesn't bogg.U gotta adjust your riding style to compensate for the famous boggin f4ez.

Mine doesnt bog at all. And i have both sides of the airbox wide open.. lol.. Sick... I must have the" antibog injector booster"

 

spend 60. bucks and put new plugs in it, helped mine out alot

 

buy a yamaha....

 

make sure your spark plugs are tight and have good gas, my bike only bogs with stock gear, even with your 56 still might bog a little, I run a 66 rear and 1 down, no bog problems here

And I run a 56 rear stock front.

 

I sinked throttle bodies and spark plug swap and it's running good make sure ur clutch cable is free mine had a burr and wasn't disengaging....

yeah i have had my fare share of yamahammer problems racing in motocross new clutch every weekend got expensive

i like yamadogs.....i had a sticker on the swing arm of my yz that said yamama...haha no one ever noticed id didnt say yamaha... i used two original stickers and cut out the h and replaced it w/ the m...hahai guess im the only one that ever enjoyed it...lol
