do you have the idle mod????
aka second idle cable...
because if your messing with the stock idle cable your going to **** up the wax idle unit,and cause the bike to bog..

no i have been just messin with the stock one if i fucked the wax idle up would i just have to but a new stock idle cable and a 929 cable for my second cable? also does any body know ware i need to put the type on my air box

Over the giant air intake hole. Start in increments by making it a smaller opening

you can try to fix the stock one.....
TRY TO MAKE IT back to normal,,where it idles around 2-3 then slowly drops by it self to around 1.1-1.4,,,WHEN THE BIKE WARMS UP...
and it should be ok....
but DO PUT IN A SECOND CABLE,,IT MAKES A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE...

ware at do i thred the second cable in 2 and should i use a 929 cable also why that cable

The reason for the second is that you are raising idle by opening the throttle bodies themselves. When you turn the STOCK lower idle screw, you are actually changing the fuel mixture. Its better to stay away from that one..


Well not literally opening the throttle bodies, but cracking open the butterflies insides.. Just wanted to say that for the people who dont understand how fuel injection works..

I did it, used the cable off my f4, seems to be working just fine.
